1) Level Editor: wouldn't really affect the majority of people, so I don't know the legitimacy of this idea.
It would be cool, but I rather them make other parts of the game better.

3) Different Weapons: I agree that it would be awesome if they added melee weapons such as
daggers. It would add some depth to the gameplay.

No one is going to take you seriously if all you do it complain. If you have an opinion about the article, state it, then leave. If you hate N4G, don't bother the rest of the world with your problems and go ahead and leave.

Things at IGN have been getting worse and worse. They are hiring people with an obvious lack of talent in regards to journalism. What is being questioned here, is not whether COD: BO is good or not, it's the credibility...

I personally don't know how you can say the gameplay is boring. Sure it's easy to pick and doesn't have any particular "depth", but this is what allows you to be more immersed in the world around you. Like you said, the level of polish is on a perfectionists level. That + a gameplay system that anyone can play is what makes it the best game of this generation. No one is going to call an impossibly hard, the best game this generation.

It's not IGN I have a problem with. It's certain reviewers. Hilary Goldstein, Eric Brudwig, some new guys, are all terrible reviewers. They seem to brush over faults in some games and get nit-picky with others. There is no consistency.

The only area of IGN that has consistency is their tech reviewers.

Ya, I have never been shafted by Apple. The only problem I had with my macbook pro was the logic board failing (3 years after purchase) and they replaced it for free. Their customer service is REALLY responsive, and won't hang up until they solve your problem.

I think he is over-generalizing the entire group. Sure, there are definitely some reviewers that I question whether or not there is a game that they enjoy, but I wouldn't say all reviewers are this way.
