Hit it right on the money. Some people don't realise what the word "Blockbuster" means. Sure, we have a bunch of great games coming in 09, but there only important to the Hardcore Gamer.
This article is talking about games that the mass market cares about. Games such as the Halo's, Call of Duty's and Mario's of the world.

As a gamer who prefers my 360 over my PS3, I would def say to get this game on the PS3 for one main reason....THE D-PAD CONTROL!!!
But if you're a Street Fighter fanatic, you must buy the arcade stick..so either would do.
The demo totally convinced me to buy this game. Being a Halo fan but absolutely HATING RTS games I was not looking forward to this game. Now it's a day one purchase.
I'm guessing it was simplified and made straightforward for people like me. and since there are a lot more casual gamers like me then hardcore RTS fans, I'm guessing it was a great business move by Ensemble.

As a pure Gaming console, my vote is also for the Sega Dreamcast. I know personally, that if it wasn't for the Dreamcast, I would have not become a gamer again.
But the reason it failed is because of various business circumstances....not game related. Companies such as EA and Sony played different cards and ultimatily lead to Sega's demise.

Look at Netflix Subscription chart. It was quite steady before November. Then in November, once the 360 deal took place (and NOTHING else changed) there subscriptions went thru the roof! If that isn't a commonsense sales patten, then I don't know what is?
