I'm actually worried the game will not do well, because people kind of shifted attention to other games at this point (like me), or they have already pirated it, or plan to.

They are already getting the wrong idea if they think they need to reinvent FF7 to the point that it's unrecognizable.

The only next gen Machine that wont cause a recession is WiiU, because 3rd parties will see it a 3rd platform to put current gen games on.
I'd be upset too, but I don't buy their games anyways.
Nintendo consoles to their benefit always felt, NEW when they come out with a next gen Machine.
unfortunately the WiiU is riding on the back on the previous machine, It just doesn't feel brand new enough to me, and I think it could be a mistake.

I was willing to buy the game as I saw just barely enough new stuff to feel the purchase worthly.
Then I heard that the PS3 version of the game still does not have custom music again.
It's not about the music anymore. capcom just does not listen to even the simplest requests, so I'm not going to pay.
I have yet to buy a current gen DBZ game, guess I will still have to wait till something interesting comes.
I wish I could still feel that way about capcom.

I think MS is planning ahead (I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here).
they are positioning 360 as more casual and family focused now, which is paying off, and they want core gamers to have a good reason to jump on to xbox720 as soon as it comes out, because it will be the core buying new consoles while casuals will prefer to stick with the 360 a little longer.
