The fact the WiiU is coming out with 2 significant 2D platformers (4 if you include Nintendo shop) is very exciting and unusual for a launch game in this century. It feels like a revival of 2D.
I felt the editors fail to elevate the excitement for reading all things related to Playstation. I don't Subscribe to Nintendo Power but they did a better job in that aspect.
I find PTOM pretty dry. something is wrong when it's the DVD blu ray reviews that were one of the few things I eagerly wanted to read most each issue.
For me personally, I need to be given much more reason right now to get a PS4 than a WiiU.
rather NiS have its own allstar fighting game, with it own characters. I been wanting it for awhile now.
lets put 2 overly exposed ip together.
The tablet controller might remind developers that personal single player experience is still valid. when everything is trying to focus on multiplayer nowadays, that makes me hopeful for future WiiU games.
Oops. I pushed *agree* because you said you'd get many disagrees.
People are telling people to not be excited for launches anymore.
and when you stunt the hardware success at launch it will hurt it's long term performance.
I don't know why these guys don't get that. It WiiU does extremely well in the first 6 months, many more publishers will be scrambling to get games on it.
why are they so quick to dismiss him?
he has some points.
Nintendo first party games in the longest time were 50 bucks but they tend to be very slow to knock prices down on the first party games. not nearly as soon 3rd party games, some high profile games that drop to half price withing 6 months even.
With WiiU, now they are 60 and may be 60 bucks long after release date. The somewhat fair tradeoff is no longer there for the customer.
Taking out characters.
I never understood people who ask for less content.
I don't like this mentality where game franchises are held hostage. If they don't sell well, they will "get it".
now, according to this discussion, employees are being held hostage too.
That sort of thing puts me off from doing any business with capcom or anyone else that routinely does this.
Graphics sure came a long way.
"Unfortunately, the game will not include an online multiplayer mode"
That statement really bothered me.
It's a zelda game
except sometime Namco actually answers to those cries. they aren't Capcom.
rather they port an HD trilogy to WiiU.
It's currently not going to be one of my launch purchases, so I guess I feel the same.
Fight the good fight Japan. don't become PC.
E3 as kinda bad for everyone, except Ubisoft.
I bet the dev will find it refreshing to use the WiiU feature set, because this series comes out annually, it probably had been more or less the same routine of development for quite a few years until now.
I'll respect the authors right to an opinion.
