Why is SF5 regarded as a PS4 exclusive when it's releasing on PC.
Only petty fanboys and fangirls are upset with cross-buy.
If you wanted the game on xone before, dry your eyes, you can still get it.
I have a PS4 and wouldn't care if Uncharted 4 released on PC or even xone. Exclusives are BS. Let everyone enjoy great games. More money for devs, larger user bases for online, and more options for gamers. And no sacrificing games by picking one platform over the other.
Let price/power and service be the de...
Finally a gaming journalist gets it.
If this cross-buy advantage incorporated 3rd party games, I'd get an xone and would try and convince my console friends to get one as well.
I'm always torn between getting a game for PC or PS4 because I have closer friends on PS4 but much prefer 60FPS and higher graphical settings on PC. This would solve the problem.
Ideally, all online in games would be cross platform so I could just get on PC and...
Most exciting traditional FPS this imo.
I don't consider Dues Ex a traditional FPS
Yes!
I had 2 friends who played the game. One got fed up spending 15-40 minutes on Friday night trying to manually match make and going to 3rd party sites and quit.
Games no fun at all with less than three people.
And the grind was getting boring anyways.
I did have fun with the game before it became a snooze fest.
It is a big deal.
It's just not a bad thing; it's a very good thing. Hopefully all the exclusives come to PC with cross-platform play. Just means more game sales. MS makes the money off the games not the hardware anyway. For all the fanboys crying about it, don't worry, your xbox division will be alright.
Who cares, 90% of people buy consoles to play EA, Activision, and Ubisoft games.
Add GTA and Bethesda RPG in there and you have 95% of console buyers.
Get with the times. Third party games, price, and friend networks drive console sales.
Quit complaining fanboys and rejoice that more gamers have more games to play. The sooner exclusives are eliminated all together the better UNLESS hardware/technical capability is the reason for the exclusiv...
I'm really loving MS attitude towards gamers lately. They are winning back my positive regard.
Well done.
I hope other companies follow with PC/console cross buy. I have friends on console and friends on PC. I'd pay $20-$30 extra to be able to play on both with one purchase. Sometimes it's so hard to choose and I'd never pay full price for two of the same game.
Torn about whether I should get Division on PS4 or PC.
It's amusing how foolish and wrong gaming journalists are.
How many people intending to build/purchase a gaming PC are dissuaded because they want to play Halo or Quantum Break and get an xone instead.
People get gaming PCs for a hole host of reasons, not the least of which is top end graphics, upgradability, cheaper games, and complete all in one media device capabilities.
99% of the best games (and game sales) are 3rd party multiplats. ...
People that are interested in PC gaming would get/make a gaming PC instead of buying an xone in any event.
Xone is a great buy for having 80% of the same game experience for less than a third of the price.
There's room for both to thrive, PC wouldn't cannibalize xone sales even if MS released Halo 5 and MC collection on it. Consoles and Gaming PCs exist in different realms.
YES! Windows 10!
Now bring Halo. Probably get another 2-3 million sales.
Still waiting for the update that fixes the massive framerate drops on my GTX 970.
In any event, from what I have played, the game seems like it will be very enjoyable.
The trailer looked awesome! Very excited for this game. Particularly consider how great Wolfenstein was and how rare SP focused FPS games are these days.
Gamers complaining or a relatively unknown site (successfully) fishing for hits with a negative article...well that's new.
Not really, but I do like to watch them walk more.
WTF
NO
Hope to never see you again inverse.com
Lack of content.
Overpriced additional content that still lacked content.
No basis to explore anything.
Horrible story. A sidequest in Witcher/Fallout has a more interesting story and appealing exploration.
Maps/Planets are not immersive, lifeless and seem less open-world and more like linear open concept Halo levels.
The main reason I stopped playing was that I only jknew 3 people that played the game. With...
Company's should lay off the hyperbolic PR speak. I think it has the opposite effect. Now I think the game won't be anything close to magical.
Yeah I could run Ryse maxed out 1080p/60FPS with GPU and CPU room to spare.
Xone owners can complain and boycott all they want. But if these games don't sell or are more profitable on PC then expect less exclusives and an even greater focus on PC.
Still don't understand why anyone would be upset by a PC release. It's essentially a MS console. It's like being upset that Titanfall released on 360.
