Content is what matters.Graphics,bugs,marketin g etc even don't matter if you get the story nad gameplay right.Marketing can generate hype but it can't turn a donkey into a horse.Looking forward to Bulletstorm.
Why shouting for reboots?Why not start a new ip??
Blizzard does not need one but activision surely does.I don't know how these two completely opposites work together.

Obsidians games always have great story but their games are buggy bcoz they try to do something new by pushing their limit.I have played each one of obsidian's games and even their worst game alpha protocol has something innovative-the dialogue mechanics which imo best in this gen and many studios will follow it in future including Bioware.If you want to go for NV,get the pc one.It is fully patched and some very good mods are available there.
That will be fair and game companies will be responsible.And we will get polished games.Now,very few games release without the need of patches.
KOTOR lost to FF9.Surprise.
But majorka is not a bad choice either.But in truth,it got easier rounds in start.Look at HL2.It eliminated all the mammoth contenders.
I can sense release date is very near.
I played it on pc.But i am eager to see how Bioware manages to give the feel of the first game.I expect a kickass intro to introduce the mass effect world or playthrough of the main portions of 1st one.
Lets give one reason pc gaming will never die.
There are two giant companies named Nvidia and AMD.Until they remain,pc gaming will stay.And they sometimes finance some games like Arkham Asylum.
And for the stats count ps3,x360 and wii titles .Add them and compare it to titles released on pc(don't forget the indies).Pc will still be no.1.
Lets put it this way rpgs are like reading the whole Lord of th Rings novels,not watching the movie.In movie,its just 10hours of action packed events.In the novel,it take some time to settle for the ride.But when you get the feel,evrything in the world feels like relevant.What you call grinding is the way to get that feel.True rpgs give you to play a role and they aims you to feel it.Look,people still plays oblivion,doing the same things over and over again.
It will go on for years.This year its GT5 and HP.Next year Forza and Shift2.Man! I still remember the year demon's soul was GOTY(editor's).Even the ps3 fanboys did not vote for it bcoz they didn't play it then and it was not hyped.But now its one of the most revered(perhaps the best) game on ps3.A game can't be made better or worse by pointless ranting.If its good,it will itself prove its worth by time.
BFBC2 is my personal no.1.Halo is a close second.
Enslaved,alpha protocol and darksiders are awesome.
One reason DLC.They give one mode for 60$ and charge us to unlock something that should have been in the original.Out of 100 dlcs i don't think atmost 10 is worth buying.

Activision is scared,haha!No respect for the studio that made you billions.Why should you expect them to not hate you?EA was once the villain.But after riccitello,the gamer CEO,took charge they did reasonably well compared to KoDickVision,Ubisoft(DRM) etc.
I love that site.So,many lores and stories.Perhaps the best setting a game can have.
