So Ars(e) thinks it's not fair to review a game before at has been patched?
I almost forgot - Did that courtesy apply to GT5 as well: http://arstechnica.com/gami...
No? - Double standards at its worst.
I got all Telltales stuff (except BttF) both on PS3 and PC, and I got the disks for PC when each season ended - But I doubt if a retail version of the games will sell very well - I suspect I'm in a minority loving oldschool point-and-click adventure games.
And Telltale - PLEASE get started on a remake of Grim Fandango - I will buy it on all platforms you may release it on! ;)
According to the International Standards ISO-8601 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... - the week starts with monday.
Some calendars show sunday as the first day of the week because a few religions stated that, but most industrial countries now follow the ISO standard.
Download? Is it only available thru iTunes?
What if I am allergic to Apples?
I don't think so - The audio quality is usually horrible, but even worse is the content.
"Batman, Motherf*****" gets old, very, very quick and the rest is usually someone stating something or other and then Davis explaining to that someone why he is wrong in a patronizing way.
I have tried listening to the podcast several times, and each time was a repeat of the above.
I see that #130 will be the final show - I will not be missi...
Why haven´t he been rebranded as "GeoPutz" yet?
He acts like a spoiled brat.
Well, Thor isn't the God of War.... Tyr is! ;)

@ Iamback:
It's Tuesday the 7th of June 2:00 (am) CEST for Europe :(
That would be nice - but it isn't possible due to the amount of memory it would consume.
At best it could be saved in a "hibernation" state when not in use, but it wouldn't make it run in the background.
@devilhunterx
If I'm understanding you correctly, you are referring to the "Danish Cartoons"?
Seriously?
If that is the case, please allow me to quote the great late George Carlin: "H-O-L-Y S-H-*-T"
Are you seriously basing your opinion of a gaming website - not to mention of an entire nation - on the actions of a few people in an entiry different field than gaming?
Sheeeez! And to thi...
Huh? Care to explain what you mean?
@ MWong
The method of overwriting the HDD with random data is foolproof - It is impossible to recover the original data after that, provided that the overwriting is low-level, and not done by at simple quick format.
But you may encounter some weird HDD controller where the program cannot communicate properly with the electronics, e.g. a MFM or RLL controller...
MAN, I feel old now! :D
No need to set anything on fire - Just "boot and nuke" the HDD... simple!

The program overwrites every sector on the HDD several time with random data - that makes the original data unrecoverable.
This is rushing through a game... ;)
Nope. Elite it is.
lol! I did't know the WW2 reference to ducks but it makes sense once you know it. You learn something new every day!
Thanks for the link!

"Duck Taped"? Is this some type of tape made for - or out of - fowl?
Maybe it should read "Duct Taped"? ;)
Like "only a small percentage" of PSP and DS systems are hacked? /s
The story in "Fate of Atlantis" is actually pretty good.
If only Spielberg had used that instead of the horrible abomination that was Indy 4.
I have - and I enjoy GT5 - but I just hate hypocritical game "journalists"
