Don't care about cartoon or realistic - But GTA should return to being a fun game...!
“designed for a wide range of players, not just a typical simulation enthusiast”
Sigh! That's all I need to know that this is NOT a simulator - or at least no more simulator than that other MS "simulator" Crimson Skies... :(
"...and Sony did not inform its customers for WEEKS about the breech..."
I'm sorry, but if you want to be taken seriously, please get your facts straight before going off an a tirade like that.

The intrusion was detected on the 19th, PSN was shut down the 20th and the post above is from ...
Yup! Schumi was known as "Der Rainmeister"!
Also Jean Alesi fun to watch driving sideways "Rally-style" in the wet and of course Ayrton Senna was a amazing under any track conditions.
@newmonday: Well in the Danish Discovery Channel, R3 and the PS3 is advertised nearly every ad break.
I can't remember the PS3 being advertised this much before, but it is possible that the ad campaigns are scheduled differently due to the more fragmented market in Europe.
Edit: And since I'm not very much into FPS, I'll wait until R3 is cheaper, like I did with R1 and R2.
@KwietStorm: Nope, that's a PC simulator called rFactor. http://rfactor.net/ and an add-on track for the Nordschleife.
This is GT5: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I think the graphics in the clips above are better in rFactor and please note that rFactor is in-game while GT5 is replay, but more importantly th...
I love the GT series, but there's no need for a PC version - there are much better alternatives available.

There's an awful lot of mediocre multiplats listed IMO. I mean - Why is GTA4 even considered for that list?
There are better choices for an "all time" list...
How in the hell is the original wipEout not on that list?
The game was almost defined by its soundtrack, and was a big part of making electronica popular in the 90's.
Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, Orbital, etc. - I still get a huge grin on my face whenever I hear something from CoLD SToRAGE.
Argh! Now I gotta go and play some Gravity Crash again.
@darkride66: Actually, Grim Fandango is not a point-and-click adventure game - one of the reasons it didn't become as famous as the Monkey Island series is that Lucasarts replaced the SCUMM interface from their earlier adventure games with grimE - and many people didn't like it very much.
It is a bit strange to use compared to the mouse interface from the previous games from Lucasarts, but Grim Fandango is the reason I will buy any Tim Schafer game no matter what the ...
@gamingdroid:
$595 in 1982 is more than $1400 today but that just makes it all the more impressive that the C64 became popular!
And I know how expensive hardware was at the time - I remember paying $270 for a 3½" floppy drive and $1550 for a 10 mega-byte!!! harddrive for my Amiga 500 in 1988... ;)
@FatOldMan
The Commodore 64 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... launched at $595 back in 1982 - and it went on to become one of the most succesfull home computers of all time.
2 things:
First of all, how about a RSS feed for those of us not included in the cult of the turtleneck?
And secondly: I tried listening to your 1st podcast, and I don't think I have heard an bigger fanboy than the self-declared "biggest Halo fan ewar" that commented on the E3 shows.
"Kinect is all about HC games" and "Sony's conference didn't have any games at all" - maybe I don't get it and this...
@LocO_o: PSN is running in Asia - But the Japanese government has forbidden Sony to allow users to access it as described in the link you provided - But thats hardly Sonys fault.
@PPR0X1: Well, PSN was out for 23 days - that isn't "1+ month".
So in your own example, the fanboys are actually correct if they disagree with you...
;)
What I don't get is why Sony continues to screw over their EU customers?
Late releases, downgraded hardware, more expensive consoles - all this to their most loyal customer base. WTF?
And now PSVita will be using Valve's infamous 1$=1€ pricing? 249$~1269DKK and 249€~1856DKK - aka the 33% "EU tax"! :(
F that - I'll just do what I started doing with Valve - Stop buying until the price is lowered.
Sony mak...
"Douglas Adams’ 1979 novel A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is being remade, for the third or fourth time, into an upcoming adventure game by Hothead Games."
I don´t know about any other version than the Infocom text-only classic (I think I still have the 5" floppy discs somewhere in the attic)
What other versions are there? Adam's "Starship Titanic" game isn't part of THHGTTG, and neither are "Last chance to see&q...
Sorry, wrong thread.
Yay! I could change password, login, sync trophies and link my PSN and Steam accounts! :D
Downloading Portal2 to my PC now so I can check x-platform co-op.
Or happy Happy...
