I loved Vice City and San Andreas, then was really hyped for GTA4 until I discovered it was one long boring grindfest.
I didn't play RDR as I really don't like the western genre even though I was tempted due to more than one reviewer called it "Grand Theft Horsey" - Having received it for free on PS+ I am glad I skipped it as I don't like it at all.
If you think that the fact that GTA5 broke records makes it impossible to be disappointed...
As Lester talks about buying stocks in the main story line, I don't think BAWSAQ is an extra feature.
Without it, making money becomes a boring grind and ruins the game after the main story has finished.
You're right that the rest are extras, but I find it more than a little ironic that R* pokes fun at Apple, and then fails to support the most popular smartphone OS.
Well, BAWSAQ hasn't EVER worked for me - It feels stupid when Lester gives tips about stock that I cannot access.
The Social club has updated exactly one time, indicating that I've just passed the prologue, even though I finished the story a long time ago.
Oh, and I use Android, so training Chop and customizing cars has never worked.
All in all a pretty shitty job, Rockstar.
