I made this video. There's no way around compression, it's a part of web video. But it is a relatively high quality encode, and in my opinion it's enough to be able to make distinctions between the two platforms. They're very subtle and hardly make any difference to the eye at all, but they're there.

I think Dan is trying to boast up the cloud like it's something "beyond" alien, he's saying you can put in more advanced AI on the cloud. Thus having more head room for higher resolutions and frame rates, textures, ect.
However, if it wasn't playing with that advance learning AI. That game may have been still 1080p @60fps, but the AI would've been generic.. That's my thought on it anyway:)

I agree 100%, I preferred the Xbox console last gen because of third party games were better( not trasticly) but better. And because most of my friends were on that platform. We mostly played PS3 for exclusives. But this time around the PS4 seems to have the better hardware, better price, and better third party versions. The only thing xbox one has going is exclusives.(for launch anyway)Dedicated servers for every game,ect.

Works better on the i3, and i5s. Seems to be more optimized for the 4 core CPUs.
Great news for people with older CPU models. Feel bad for the PC heads that spent all that money for the i7s. But the frost bite engine is just more optimize for the CPUs with 4 cores. Moreover people shouldn't feel shy about approaching Windows 8.1. 10 to 20% increase.Seems to win in every way.:)

These glitches are getting to be too much, what's the next one? How to take someone's apartment, have them buss you in, when they buzz you in, once buzzed in press start. Go to options and switch the location to this location, go offline. Then go back online, the apartment and garage can now be access. Fix this crap R.

Very disappointing indeed, COD has or had more preorders on the X1. It pisses me off to that they have that much money but chose a weak GPU so they can make a profit on day one. Cancel you preorders ppl, they need to be punished..

A little disappointing for COD Xbox fans, with more preorders to.. Microsoft, all this weaker hardware so you can make a profit on day one. Gamers should make a perdition not to buy the X1 until they hardware up!
I think the PS4 version was done for weeks now. I'm sure they were crunching like crazy on the X1 version though . With the drivers problems and newer dev kits, hence is the reason why COD devs are not commenting on the X1's resolutions (because they are still optimizing to get in on par with its competitor). If somehow EA and Infinity Ward get these games with the same resolutions, I would be impressed..
Yeah and where are the crushed blacks that the X1 version had in Digital Foundry comparisons. In fact the darker version was the PS4 version on ign? Some one was paid to make one version look worst.
I will give props when it's due, the PS4 version has better AA, higher res and a more consistent framerate. The X1 has better textures due to DX11.X. The lighting could be a double edge sword on the X1, it could make it to unrealistic giving it the Halo 4 effect.
To be fair we are not seeing the game in motion, but I do know the aa and framerate is better on ps4. They say the resolution is 900p on ps4 and 720p on X1.(EA never confirmed the resolution only DF) By those pics it doesn't seem that way, but for now on how it runs from what I hear I will agree that the PS4 is the better version..

Maybe because those were not the final builds, but ps4 seems to be the better version because of the aa. Can't see the resolution on these vids but I trust it looks better on that as well.
I agree look DX11.X has part in this, look at the ground textures and the sharpness here. However, PS4 has better aa but can't tell about the 900p with the resolution because it looks blurry.

For some reason the lighting seems to be a bit better on the X1 at 4:13, then saw some lights missing in the ps4 version. The part with the building, and at the end with the lamp. To be fair it's hard to judge on a YouTube video but the ps4 may have the better resolution.
