1280x1080 IS 1080p because it renders 1,080 lines of vertical resolution
People are worried about resolution when it's competitor is mentioned.. Since ppl want to bring Xbox in this. I can't believe its 2014 and people can't tell native from sub.. Interesting enough, that rebellion developer seemed confident that they would have it running at 1080p. That newer SDK has to be more then just that, I'm convinced that the long awaited Direct X 11.2 will be with this SDK..
@quenomamen: Yet APIs like DX 11 can give more detail at lower performance. Have you all forgotten, Direct X 11.2 is able to compress 3GBs textures into 16MBs, 6 GBs of textures into 32Mbs?
