I think they are terrible for the most part.
I think lack of exclusives hurt (reason I wont buy one, but I have a great PC 7700k/1080Ti), however for those who don't have a good PC, this is the defacto console for the best versions of multi-platform games. So really it comes down to what you care about. PS4 Pro is good enough for multi-platform games if you want the exclusives.

I think you have no real clue about modern PC computing. First of all, there is no "plug and pray", that was gone eons ago and judging from your lower comment where you mentioned AGP, you have not been in this scene for 10+ years.
Second, a good PC these days will give you 5 years of solid performance.
Oh come on, the Xbox 1 X is barely a 4k machine. I would rather they have focused on true 1080p/60fps AND ALL THE GRAPHICS DETAILS than a 4k machine running at 30fps and anywhere from "low to high" settings.
KS9000 was last year's winner, not available anymore to purchase (except used or a few retailers that have a bit of stock).
Best of the non-OLED's this year is the Sony XBR900E series. It is almost as good (better in some ways) than the LG C7.
Make X1X stream steam, and I will buy it tomorrow.

The average person doesn't even know about this. In the end, about 100-200k gamers saw it. Maybe 1000 wont buy the game. Maybe 50,000 will hold off. Nobody cares.

I have no issue with review bombs. The players are showing their unhappyness, the only real way they can. Good for them. Those that disagree, can purchase it.

Meh, not worried at all. For me, 1080p is all I really care about at a good frame rate, and the PS4 Pro is doing that. My PC plays everything else and knocks the crap out of the X1X.
Game rocks. Love it. Best AC game since Revelations.
