I don't think this is a milking, plenty of people will be able to play it for the first time.
However, I agree, it would be nice to get a Demon's Souls remake (not remaster). My guess is it happens...

In the future streaming services will make all of this redundant anyways. It is FAR easier for them to just keep making the Playstation Now streaming service more robust, than offer backwards compatibility each time their is a new console.
I would suspect that at some point, we will have a lot of the PS1 through to PS3 and then PS4 games being playable on streaming services and that will be easy for them to keep up to date with new consoles. Much easier than recompiling...
I think their are only about 2 Dark Souls "clone's" are there not? I mean from different companies? Nioh and Lords of the Fallen or something? or are their more than this? (I do not mean Bloodborne or Demon's Souls, those are the same company)

I see a 2019 or even early 2020 release. We are ok going another 1-2 years with PS4/PS4 Pro.
Why would I buy an XboxOne? The PS4 does everything it does plus has more games. As for the X1X, it is nice, but the PS4 Pro is good enough anyways plus has more games.
I used to be a huge Xbox 360 fan because it was the better platform at the time vs the PS3. It isn't anymore.

When you look at how amazing some of the games in the last year look (Horizons, God of War 4, etc), it is easy to see how we can go another couple years with the existing system.

The Xbox One is a failure and has only sold because of the popularity of the Xbox 360, which was popular BECAUSE OF THE FACT that Sony dropped the ball with the Playstation 3's release price AND adoption of the Cell Processor, which was powerful but also very difficult to program for, making the 360 the defacto standard for the previous generation.

You may not see a PS5 Pro next generation. They only did it for 4k TV's this time around. Hard to say.
I dont think it really matters. Most of us who bought PS4's are not going to waste money on a MS box. Why bother? The best games are on the Sony box, and if it comes out later and has a bit more power, even the multiplatform games will run better.
Of course they had beta's back then. we even had an internet.

It seems to me from your comments, that you are making them all to be similar because of the camera. I don't think you know what you are talking about in comparing games, but I do agree with you that Gears of War needs a new direction entirely.
