Blame anybody who purchased this crap.
Slow news day? lol.
Wish we could downvote articles.
Looks tedious..
We live in a world where you have to be nice to everybody, even if they are wrong.
Can't even get more than 4 responses here, nobody cares about the game.
Dark Souls 2 and Far Cry 4 are easily 2 of the best titles they ever added here...
If I happened to stupidly buy something that I didn't play, it is usually just a lack of excitement for it, usually in the form of "this is probably going to be the same old crap I have played in the past".
Microsoft has been talking about having more exclusives for years now, and they never do. Sony blows them away in this regard and is going to continue doing that over the next two years.
The only reason right now to own a Xbox One is either your friends are all on it, you play Xbox One exclusives non stop, you got the X1X to have the top 4k system on the market for multi-platform titles or you either don't know better or are willfully stupid. The first 3 reasons are...
Bloodborne was huge.
Microsoft has waken up to this fact about 10 times in the last 10-15 years. Expect no change.
Agreed. I've played DS2 and 3 and then went back to play through about 1/4 of DS1 before life tied me up. Their is definitely a difference here without being able to warp around and it works for the reasons stated (world size in DS2 and 3 would make it impossible to not have warping IMO). For DS1 it just adds to the tension. I doubt they change this aspect. The Dark Souls marked has greatly increased from when Dark Souls 1 came out. It will seel. It doesn't need warping.
When the game came out, everybody said it was crap. I picked it up for about $5 a year later and you know what? I really enjoyed most of the game. It has its issues and isn't perfect, but it isn't a bad game in any way, shape or form.
Like some of the other people said, it had a fair amount of potential that was never reached, but I put time into it, finished it and actually enjoyed the experience for the most part.
Polygon is a terrible website, so refuse to click through and support them, but I enjoyed Lair when it came out.
Thanks for the tips. I was using my Switch as a pry bar, a snow shovel and a baking pan. These tips will help me not damage it when doing the above.
I would say you are pretty close to what it needs to draw people in. A $500 price tag for that would make a huge difference too.
I am not sure the tech is quite their for that yet, at that price tag though, but I think you hit the specs pretty good.
Resolution wise, you could probably get down to about 1440p/1600p, but no less. 1080p shows. I would prefer 4k, but we are a good 5 years away from video cards handling 4k at 120fps with graphics settings maxed, and ...
The idiots who called this in should go to jail, maybe for life.
As for the Cop, he will be investigated and get his due process.
Xbox had nothing that wasn't available everywhere else.
It depends what spectrum of "suck" you fall on, because obviously how good/bad you are will affect your enjoyment of the game, total content seen, etc. Imagine somebody who couldn't play Skyrim reviewing the game, what would they leave out? Imagine if you suck at Dark Souls and try to review it?
It is in the consumer interest for this to be allowed. Obviously, it isn't in the interest of the companies.
Ubisoft makes some great games when they focus properly. ACOrigins was awesome, and the FarCry series is usually pretty good, certainly 3 and 4 were excellent, Primal not so excellent because they just fell into the yearly crap again.
Activision is also not so bad, depending who gets it.
Either way, one of the major studies will get it and it will end up being a Mass Market type game. Gone are the days of KOTOR, Jedi Knight, Dark Forces, X-Wing or T...
