I am not saying Gears looks better than Killzone 2, but it is spectacular in its own right. The thing about Gears, is underneath that beauty lies phenomenal gameplay. Peel back Killzone's outer layer and all you have is another generic FPS. PS3 fanboys need to shed the denial and come to terms with the fact that Killzone 2 is good, but not nearly as good as the Sony Defense Force says.
Considering the hype PS3 fanboys generated for Killzone 2 it appears to have been massively overrated. What? PS3 fanboys overhyping one of their beloved exclusives...surely not.
I got blasted a few weeks before the review embargo lifted for predicting Killzone 2 would fall in the 89-93 area. PS3 fanboys were pretty much "chasing their own tail" proclaiming Killzone 2's superiority over....well everything, including MGS4.
Time to wipe away those tears and look at the whole picture for a second. You see Gabe and Company already made a game better than Killzone 2 going off of Metacritic.

Having played a portion of the single player, there is NO EXCUSES for a lack of Coop. The game is naturally setup for it, and it should be in there.
It offers nothing in the way of a "theater system" for recording gameplay and screeshots to share online. That sort of feature would have been awesome since Killzone 2's best feature is its looks.
This game has been in development WAY TOO LONG for it to not have Coop or any other special features that...
Gears of War 1 and 2 have been released and both have higher metacritic scores than Killzone 2. How long has Killzone 2 been in development? Resistance 1 and 2 is the same story.
