No, one system isn't "better" at anti-aliasing than the other. Infact, there's a lot of factors dependant on how much AA needed.

However, given the amount of games already out. The 360 has more games with true MSAA. While the PS3 is always forced to suffer from crap like quincunx AA or temporal AA.

But like I said, it's the same old thing that the developers aren't completely comfortable with the PS3 hardware or performance stability choice.

"I have yet to see any 360 game that suffers from jaggies."

Take off your 360 fanboy glasses and play any Unreal Engine game on the 360. Pop in Gears of war, 1280x720 resolution with no AA. Or go play Oblivion. Or try Battlefield BC which looks identical to the PS3 version and has, guess what? No Anti-Aliasing. Hell, since we're on the topic of Bioshock. That game also has no AA.

You guys amaze me claiming the whole non-bias wannabe stuff.

Yup it's Kotaku that's why.

Thank God, I wish ME or any exclusives continue to stay exclusive. The 360 needs to have it's good exclusives as well as the PS3 need to have their own.

All this multiplatform mumbo jumbo is seriously annoying. Each system need to continue to have their own games and identity. Get an xbox for the xbox experience, or get a playstation for the playstation experience.

Nobody would be surprised after the FFXIII announcement. Anything is more than possible now.

The only 100% sure thing is 1st party exclusives.

Honestly, don't be surprised if it does go to the 360. Remember, they want to have as many people play their games as much as possible.

Except the 2 exclusives for the 360. /sarcasm

"PS3 having messed up settings like it always does"

What does that really mean? All I see are half-assed ports if that's what you're referring to.

But this one is actually in the hands of the developers themselves and are not being ported by another 3rd party company.

"I keep on reading about this 10 year lifecycle and I find it amusing. Is it really in the consumers best interest to be playing outdated hardware?"

Wow, they act as if Sony releases a new console every 10 years. Infact so far, the trend is every 6 years. Why is it such a bad thing that Sony wants to support the console for 10 years?

This generation is really crazy isn't it? Not only is the market different, but I notice there's a huge influx of Ignorant &...

@1.7

Here's a tip for reading N4G comments. Always assume the Fanboy did not read the actual article. It's also safe to assume that they only react to the headline. So if the headline is 100% completely different than the article, they will still react to it.

Also keep in mind Fanboys do not think about what they type. They will only instantly type what is on their brain (assuming they have one, it's been an un-told myth that fanboys might just be robots created by t...

Yes I agree. DLC is the sorry excuse for developers to milk more money out of consumers for something that should have been included in the game to begin with.

The only time DLC makes sense is if it's for new multiplayer maps.

But charging DLC for a weapon or clothes is just plain milking it. Those should just be free if they insist on it being downloaded later.

DLC would be great. Just as long as it's not "Horse Armor" again lol.

"I mean the right stick, doesn't control the camera!!! "

It would seriously depend on how the camera angles are locked by the developer. If done right, the right analog stick for camera movement may not big that big of an issue.

God of War 1 and 2 for example. Those games had locked camera angles but was never a problem.

What he's saying is if Vader was on the 360. You'd prefer Vader over Yoda.

Everybody and their momma knows no matter what, if it's something to do with Sony you'll hate it. You'll always prefer the 360. You'll even go as far as pretending you've played PS2 games just to knock on them.

6546d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

True, but look at how "cheap" a 360 is. Why is the PS3 still outselling it?

It's those features you just mentioned that's the tipping point for consumers. And then there's also the ones like you said who just want to play what they see on TV.

The one that will sell the most, will be the one that is within the price range AND have all the features everybody wants.

Once the PS3 reaches the $299 price point (whenever the heck that is) then it will...

I'm surprised "Toughname" hasn't put his usual flamebait "Superior version coming out on 360 later" or some BS like that.

Someone suggested that Nintendo should make a new controller that only has one button labled "Win" on it.

I think I'd rather play that than WiiMusic.

That's how bad it is =(

The thing is, most the game has definitely convinced skeptic PS3 owners.

It's the non-ps3 owners that will continue to hate on the game for no reason. And we allllllllll know who they are =)
