It just doesn't do Killzone 2 justice seeing this guy shoot a rocket at his own people, or throw a grenade and hit the wall, or shoot 2 feet above the enemies heads everytime.

4D gaming is referring to real-time changes in atmosphere or even physical things. Which is something we've already been playing all along.
Just like Motorstorm, when you drive around the track and split the mudd. You go around the track in the same location and split the mudd even further. Then lap after lap etc.
Fry Cry 2 could also be a good example of "4D gaming" ...

Say what you will to defend PC Gaming, but I enjoy playing games on my 46" samsung instead.
However, I still have a PC with an 8800GTS that's capable of doing 1080p for gears of war and other games.
PC Gaming isn't "dead" it's just not that alive and kicking either.
However, things could change again once Starcraft II comes out. I for the life of me cant wait for that one. Blizzard, you guys and your 2 year teasers.

Yes, Everyone copies each other here and there.
But Microsoft isn't shy to copy EVERYONE in one swoop.
Funny because it was a 9.5 million lead worldwide at one point.
Now it's trickled down to a less than 5 million lead.
Not bad for a system with that high of a price tag.

Most people who use XBL swear by the features. One of those "You don't know until you try it" type things.
But yes, there are people out there who just wants to sit down, play an online game with their friend. And finally in-game XMB lets you send messages.
But I personally think whoever thinks it's worth it to pay for XBL, likes all the features, etc. should do what they like.
And whoever likes Free should continue to like Free.
Don't know, looking at the overall picture. 5 Years of online gaming on XBL is $250.
Don't know how rich you are, but $250 could get you a Wii or 5 games lol.
