I too fall under the category of being underwhelmed.
The VATS system thing looks like a sorry excuse for not aiming yourself.
I mean, if I play a shooter game. I want to aim myself and shoot. Not magically freeze time, and pick a location I want to be shot. That's just... weird to me.
oh and the graphics were also underwhelming. (don't give me that whole gameplay vs graphics thing, because I look at a game in all angles which includes graphics)

Wow someone's missing the point here. This wasn't even about the actual hardware in terms of processing power or anything like that.
But more about the extra features like remote play, clock, theme, etc. etc. etc.
In this regards, more is better. Sure some users may not even use half the stuff, but it's there for anybody who do want to use it. More options = more flexibility.

Will the gamble start to pay off? Yes it will. And yes, Wii owners are going to start feeling left out once Blu-Ray hits mainstream.
Even the 360 is in a better position for the future than the Wii. People buy a HDTV are going to want HD Graphics. Whether it's movies or games, people want it.
Everybody can agree that there are things that look unpolished and unfinished. But with Insomaniac's history, we aren't going to be let down.
The final phases of polishing and QA testing isn't until the last stretch of developement. They still have up to 3 months left to work on the title.
Maybe a Pink or Lime green 360 could help them overtake the PS3 in japan?

The 360 version is more clear and sharp. But the one thing that's annoying is the dithering effect though.
