Yeah one of my friends for some reason just absolutely hates Metal Gear. He ended up buying a MGS4 bundle just for the system, but cant stop bashing the game. I even told him "why don't you just sell the game if you don't like it?"
But like you said, it's all people's opinions. The bashing of games need to stop. Especially those PS3 fans who aren't even going to be playing this game.

Yeah the engine looks seriously outdated. But I've been watching videos of the gameplay and it looks like a lot of fun. It just reminds me of the counter-strike zombie mod, but as an actual game this time.
If the PS3 version runs smoothly, I might get that one. If not, then X360 version it is.
umm gameraxis, there's also grain filter on the 360 version too. They did it on purpose to give it a "battlefield" look. But I do agree, I wish they could have just did without it.
Yeah and you will automatically hate it since it's PS3 related. If it was "Xbox360 lead platform" you'd go on and on about how the PS3 sucks and how PS3-fans are this and that.

That's the thing, Leading on the PS3 will result in a better multiplatform game. Sure 360 fans will hate that they don't get to gloat "nyah nyah we get the superior version" or whatever. But at least this way, everybody gets a good game regardless of PS3/360.
I only wished GTAIV made the PS3 the lead platform instead, perhaps it would have ran much smoother and be equal to the 360. Oh well, let's move on.

If you really do own a PS3, then just get rid of the damn thing if you hate it so much. Why in the world would someone invest $400-$500 on something just to constantly bash on it?

You're already playing 4D graphics on the PS3 and the 360. If 3D is Height, Width, and Length. 4D would be Time and change. An example is in Far Cry 2, when time passes, the plants grow. In Killzone 2, when you shoot the helghast into a pool of blood, the blood dries up and turn brown.
Cant think of any other examples, but there was a good article awhile back on N4G about this whole theory of 4D gaming.

That's why I say F*** nintendo with their $250 Gamecube with motion controls. Why is it not $199 by now? Or even $229 or something. We all know damn well it doesn't cost $250 for the price of the Wii's hardware.
Maybe they're already planning to? Maybe this is just a firesale to get rid of all the Arcade SKU's to move in the 60gb and Elites as the main consoles.
I hope they do, that way they can finally utilize the HDD in games. And it will also aid in big multi-platform games like FFXIII and Rage that has the problem of being too big for just the DVD drives.
Yeah I think people should lighten up a bit. So far even Facebreaker and Madden '09 is running pretty smoothly on the PS3.
People have the right to be cautious after the Orange Box, but you never know until the game is actually out.
Cahill, NBA Home Street Court is full 1080p on the 360. As well as Virtua Tennis 3. And FIFA Street.
Granted though, they are also full 1080p on the PS3 as well, and are just sports games that don't even have too much going on anyway.
Here, just look at the list. PSN games are mostly 1080p though which is great.
