Damn, they should make a Soul Caliber game like this instead.
Oh I see. Well, to be honest, they could throw a friggin honda K20A engine in there and it wouldn't matter to me. Just as long as it runs and plays 360 games 100% and no more RROD. That should make any 360 consumer happy enough.
"(As long as it isn't arrogant and demeaning remarks at the competition.)"
Yeah, this isn't an article about Itagaki.
I don't care what Cliffy B. has to say. Just keep giving us Gears of War, and let that do the talking.
I agree. Disc swapping is too overblown.
But loss of quality due to compression is not. It's a serious issue that MS isn't addressing.
It sucks that 360 gamers won't be able to enjoy the game as it could have been. But like I said in an earlier post, MS is the one to blame for their mistake.
@3.2
If it's the 360 version, then PS3 owners will get to laugh at you because that's the compressed "crappy" version.
Disc swapping isn't that big of a deal IMO. It's that whole "compression to fit" thing that bothers me more. Knowing the 360 version is gimped ONLY because of disc space, is pretty sad. But hey, we can just blame MS for that one.
The only reason they do it is because they can
1. Afford to.
And
2. They know people will buy it anyway
It's just like EA and Madden. They know themselves they're hardling advancing anything in the game, but they know every single year millions will buy the game anyway.
So it's a win/win for them.
There's also a new dreamcast game you can finally buy. lol
I "meh'd" Bioshock. But I'm only the .01% that does. I still respect the game and anybody who likes it. There's things in the game why I see people will like it, but it just doesn't do the same for me.
The greatest games in the world can be created, and no matter what. Not everyone will like it. That's just the fact of reality.
God of War for me all the way. Why? Because it has a story. Imagine that, an action adventure game with an actual story.
MASSIVE DAMAGE...
Medusa. That's why he always wears glasses, he doesn't want to turn her into stone.
Yeah well I'm sure whoever is researching the firmware to make the current drives compatible with quad-layer BDs aren't really crunching right now. Seeing as how there's not really a need for it yet. But once Blu-Ray's start becoming common in people's PCs, then we'll see a bigger push.
Right now, the biggest use for BD's is just movies and games.
A cool new feature that I probably aint gonna use that much. Give us a real GOW3 trailer and I'll be happy.
Hmmm... Sony has to flip over Jim Brown and inflict Massive Damage in order to beat him.
Doom 3 was ok. The random enemies that spawned up when you walk passed a certain area was pretty annoying though.

"Hitachi, however, claims to have used a standard Blu-Ray drive optical head that's only slightly modified to allow it to read and write data across the four 25GB layers. It's believed this will only require a firmware update to make existing drives compatible."

MASSIVE DAMAGE...
OK it's official. Gameplayer.au seems to hate video games in general.
Why the hell do they even bother having a website when all they do is come out with articles that hates everything.
Finally. I was wondering what the puck happened at the end of Tools.
This game seriously looks Epic. And the girls with hot white panties helps too.
Why the hell doesn't Sony jump on this!?!?!
