You’re stating the obvious. I game across all consoles. Let me tell you, Xbox players know about the complete lack of exclusives this gen aside from MS churning out the obvious combo of Forza, Halo, and Gears.
So yeh of course Xbox needs to churn out exclusives next gen, and acquiring studios shows that they have the intention to do just that. It’s good to see them actually listening for once.

It was undeniably beautiful to look at. It was stunning when I was playing it on the PS4 pro. I even commend them for going with a new IP and not milking Killzone dry. Can’t knock them for that.
When you take that all away, it was just another open world game that followed a similar boring formula that a lot of other open world games do too. There was no escaping that fact for me.
Wait what? You’re telling me you think Xbox needs another repetitive ass open world game with chore like quests? A game that hid behind its looks and the fact that it’s first party? No thanks.

That isn’t news. Nintendo has rarely been about that, any gamer would know you don’t pick up a Nintendo game for that kind of experience.
Whilst of course it would be interesting to see Nintendo push the envelope a little and go into uncharted waters. It doesn’t really lose anything by not doing so.
Nintendo knows their strength, and it plays to them very well.
Hopefully the sequel is good enough to actually deserve the over hype the first one got.

The engine of Spider-Man was great. I loved the combat and web slinging. The side missions were shit, repetitive. The way they bought Black Cat into the game slightly and then left the rest to dlc. That was bullshit. Greedy ass shit.
But no one will call them out for the drawbacks because as per usual the fans are too busy riding Insomniacs and Sony’s dicks to level any criticism.
Just show us what those studios are working on and pack in plenty of gameplay. But still hold shit back because apparently they are doing a show every month.
