Thinking of returning to the MCC, I have fallen out of love with alot of gaming nowadays. Will be nice to go back to one of my fav series.

This gen was done for Xbox about a year or two ago. Xbox One X was largely about keeping up appearances and reducing damage.
The challenges for all the big three will be different next gen. Especially with the imminent arrival of game streaming.
I would honestly love gaming to go back to basics. I know plenty of gamers right now who are so disheartening with the gaming scene right now, I never thought I'd see these guys like this.

Honestly, it is just nice to have a game where they aren't trying to be ultra realistic. In one day I spent more time farting about in this game than I did getting bored shitless in Red Dead 2.
I hope next gen is better than this one, i have to say I lost alot of faith and respect for the industry this gen. The good thing to come out of it was that people are becoming more aware, and they are calling publishers out on their bullshit. If it wasn't for Sony's first party stuff and some (SOME!) Xbox and Nintendo first party stuff, I would've said this gen was a complete and utter fuck up.

I can't wait for them to bring this out, mostly because once it's out then they can draw a line under this fucking mess of God knows howmany years. It's embarrassing.
The one game I used to buy from EA was Battlefield. I don't even do that now. It's all tits up. Need to hit these guys where it really hurts, and that is their pockets
Stop buying collectors editions, and they will stop making them.

This gen has been such a fucking mess. Ever since that Microsoft announcement of the Xbox One, there has been attempt after attempt by many publishers and developers to shit on consumers. This gen is one gen I want to leave behind asap. If it wasn't for the Sony's and Switch's first party support I'd have packed in gaming entirely this gen.
So glad, the decision makes in these companies deserved this. I feel for the people who actually worked on the games.

No idea what they mean by best pure console. If they mean pure in reference to focus on purely games, surely that title belongs to PlayStation and Switch before it does to Xbox.
Just don't get why they haven't done this, it would be an amazing online brawler.

This is why gamers have to give their decision with their wallets. More than ever, I think there needs to be solidarity amongst gamers, otherwise we face possibility of starting something which means we lose the industry as it stands.
