Being a beast is neither here or there. I am holding off until 1st party support picks up. And by that I don't mean another halo, another gears, another Forza, I want new IP in there.
I'd be a troll if I didn't own an Xbox One. I do. And I look back at all their exclusives this gen, aside from Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 3 I cannot think of one which wow'ed me.
Forza is now stale. Halo is stale. Gears is stale. Crackdown 3 looks like a 360 game. Ryse fell flat. Quantum Break fell flat. Recore, well do I need to say anything there? Lol. Shall I go on?

Microsoft would be stupid to pass up on this. With the very few exclusives they've had this gen, this was a surprise and a stand out game, ALOT of fun.

I played it yesterday. It looks stunning but the gameplay and the match modes just left me feeling abit meh. I never really felt part of the game. I completely agree that they would do well to bring over some of the elements in Battlefield. Right now, Battlefield 1 is my top Multiplayer Game and it will remain that way for a while.
I never got to play the original, really looking forward to this. Another Viewtiful Joe please Capcam, and Powerstone.

Tbh, the idea of yet ANOTHER version of this game makes my eyes roll. I don't know how people still play this for hours on end. It was great when it came out, now get over it.

Agreed. As much as I am waiting for this game, the exclusion of familiars is perplexing. That whole system made the first one so compelling. I wonder if they will do a remaster for the first one.

I thought we would've had more fight from me this gen because right from the beginning they were on the back foot and Sony rightly ripped them a new asshole at that console announce E3. All we have witnessed is pr speak. Then again, it has been the same across the board for ms.

A load of variety in there.
The first Thief was so good, a true stealth game. It has an atmosphere in that game which in many stealth games which came afterwards remains unmatched. I remember if you got seen in that game, chances are you'd lose a hand to hand brawl, so restart from the last save point.
The new one had none of this.
The other thing that annoys me is Xbox fanboys (yes I know they're all annoying), but they pretend like Microsoft hasn't set a foot wrong. Yet they began this generation on a bad footing.
I don't want Microsoft to drown in this market because competition is good. But they aren't even giving much competition either.
Even if this isn't some bullshit marketing speak, which it most likely is. It will takes years for this to come to fruition.
