No. They would have loved to have shown the full potential of XB1 from launch. However it is very obvious the XB1 was not anywhere near ready for launch. MS were caught off guard by Sony, PS4 wasn't fully ready either for that matter. They have been rushing through the updates and tools to get the Bone to where it should have been from day one.
I don't understand why some people are upset by this. I would have thought this is a very good thing that the XB1 is going to...
Simple answer. No.
@Morganfell. You may have had a conversation with her a few years ago. However a hell of a lot can happen in that amount time.
Wasn't comparing them in terms of hardware.
Was highlighting the disparity in fairness when it comes to peripherals for both consoles.
also @Rhythmattic. Input or output, so what? They are both devices for interacting with your console. So in that respect they are very similar 'animals'.
So you are saying if something is hard then its not worth doing?
I'm more of the train of thought, if its worth doing then it doesn't matter if its hard or not.
Giving up, is not worth doing. MS are not fools. Selling 1 million consoles provides a lot of revenue and so does the revenue from software sales from those 1 million consoles. I fully expect them to sell as least as many as 360. So well worth doing.
Clearly they have much smarter people than many on this site.
I guess this little extra is fine.
However Kinect is a waste of time. Hmmmmmmm.
Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward with interest, as to how VR can be used alongside consoles. Just don't understand how some people can be accepting of this, yet be easily dismissive of Kinect. And the argument of MS is 'forcing' Kinect on the consumer, bears little relevance upon my point.
Nevermind all the big hitters, its stuff like this that'll make me get the XB1 eventually ( too busy working through my massive steam list).
Obviously TitanFall and co are nice extras ;-)
Overuse of expletives, yet a very honest and true argument.
Yeah that's why COD and BF players finish the very short single player game then keep playing their multiplayer game months and months and months and months and months and months............ after the initial purchase.
Keep trying. Fail.
Answer. No!
hehehehehe. Too true.
100 Euros?
Pocket change. Make it 200 and be done with it.
I think some people on here are already having an unhealthy relationship with their little black box ;-)
Ok opinion, not fact. Take a chill pill.
The PS4 selling so well just proves that you don't need good games to be successful.
It just has to keep in there and release great games. Something PS4 is yet to do for that matter.
Given time, enough people will see the quality of games (for both consoles) and then make a more rational decision for their purchase. I didn't buy early this time for the simple fact that early games tend to be shallow pieces of rubbish, compared to the next round of games.
hahahaha.
Comedy gold there :-)
Don't be daft.
The original xbox had something similar happen. I was a day one buyer of that and MS compensated me and others, with a £100 pack. This consisted of a controller(the massive bin lid controller) and I think either 2 or 3 games(can't remember exactly).
MS reward their customers. I've never had a bad experience with them. However, I do remember a long online dropout from SONY not so long ago that was pretty annoying!
I don't know anybody who uses the term Brits to describe us, other than non-Brits ;-)
Underground overground, hercling free.
Those enemy mechs scare the sh!t outta me.
Making good use of the things that we find.
Bloody great guns and proximity mines.
