I have a quick question. I see some people on here saying they do not need more than 20gb or never went below 10.8gb on their HDD for the 360. I do not own a 360, but I have the 60gb PS3. You start off with 55gb remaining from the 60gb hdd. I have no music, no photos, no other data saved on my HDD except 2 demos, a few game saves to the internal memory card, and the program to run Folding@home. My system tells me I have 47gb remaining from 55. So I used up 8gb already of storage space. ...
i was shocked by the cost in hawaii as well....thats very high and made me wonder the same question haha
You are right like GaMr said.
But most people who are into games have already purchased a 360, PS3, or Wii by now. Gamers have at least one of those new systems by now I am sure. So now people are supposed to spnd another $479?? It is a great deal for people who waited out on buying a system...no lie about that. But for people who already forked over money for a new system, it is kinda hard to justify producing a new system like this within a lil over a year time frame. I ...
i figured it was owned or pawned...i just couldn't figure out why the "o" was changed or the "a" left out. Thanks for clearing that up..haha
A lot of things get tossed back and forth between these 2 companies and Nintendo. Some have similar features while others go a completely different route. This "Elite" seems to be copying what Sony has been pushing recently with the PS3 (HDMI and HDD). It is not a bad thing since I feel it is needed for what both MS and Sony plan on providing for their systems, but it kinda does not look good for MS to be coming out with an improved system a few months after the PS3. I know that...
So if this guy is correct and Microsoft comes out with a blu-ray drive add-on for the 360, does that mean then they may shift to using blu-ray for designing games in addition to just playing hi-def movies??? Also, what does "pwned" mean? I see that word daily on this site...
Yea Kevmac...i have gotten back into nfl 2k5 the past 2 weeks...i cant wait to see how the new version looks and plays later on this year...the crib decoratin can be a lil addictive

I am referring to the Star Trek thingies...I agree they are kinda ridiculous looking, but it is very convenient since you don't have to worry about the USB cord. I already went through 3 headsets on the PS2 and they all stopped working due to the wire connecting to my earpiece. I figure I give the bluetooth ones a try since the others dont last long for me.
thanks kevmac83
good point Torchy
hopefully the online play will make up for it
For the PS3 are you able to use any blue tooth headset?? Is everyone of the headsets compatible with the PS3? I have one for the PS2 via usb port and it recently crapped out, so I'm just wondering if I go on E-bay and get any motorola blue tooth headset if it will work so I can use it for multiplayer games. Thanks.
Yea that tech demo was very, very impressive. I was not big into this game at first, but after seeing the screens this past week and now this demo, it looks like I may pick this up when it is released. I thought the gameplay mechanics looked fantastic.
thanks for the clarificiation deepbrown and DJ
I just have a question about the firmware updates for the PS3. Does it just save over itself each update you make?? I am just wondering cause it doesn't say the size of the update and I am just curious cause if you keep getting updates every month or so the toll it will take on the HDD in a matter of space. I am getting better at my knowledge with the hardware and terminology for the systems, but I have been wondering about this for a while. Thanks.
Jack Bauer is the man. He bites people in the jugular and never sleeps.
Last month I went out and purchased a Wii for one of my friends. I waited out early in the morning at Circuit City with a few other people hoping to get one. The store had 16 so we were guaranteed one. When I was talking in line to a few people, a couple told me that some retailers do have Wii's in stock, maybe 3 or 4 in the back but will not sell them to customers until they get more supply in. I went on a Sunday morning so the new ads come out for retailers. They just try to have as ma...
I downloaded the demo for this awhile ago. IGN and other gaming sites were hyping this game up because of its visuals mainly, and the high fan-base for F-1 in Europe. I did not really like the demo at all and I found the graphics to be nothing great. The videos looked good, but the gameplay visuals were nothing special. I am not a fan of F-1 racing, and plus it was only a demo so I knew it was not the finished product. However, I am very disappointed to see it got a 4.8. The reviewer di...
I know it has been said before but Europe is getting a lot more games to play at their launch. A week or so before the European launch here in the US we are getting F.E.A.R., Oblivion, Motorstorm, etc. (I think Rainbow Six is delayed yet again.) But they have a few more "good" games to choose from other than just Resistance:Fall of Man. I am psyched about those games because even though most are on the 360, I don't have A 360 because I saved up for a PS3. You never know though,...
I have been waiting for the release of this game and Rainbow Six:Vegas since they were announced to be ready at launch back in November. Finally, after getting continually pushed backed both will be released in late April.
