i was able to get a 500gb external hdd for $130 at best buy. the external is nice cause you can use it for both the computer and the ps3. lot of room to store whatever, and justifies the price when compared to what microsoft and sony charge for the extra memory.

i would say do the game on vietnam for a change but that will never go through. too many people opposed and still do our involvement there. maybe the gulf war?? something other than a world war game.
I thought it got pushed back a month...oh well everything keeps changing with these dates it is hard to keep up with all these great titles coming out in the summer and fall. Thanks for the clarification deep.

Eight days got pushed back till 2008 as well. It was previously announced for December.

you are right maddens. 115 million or whatever the number is at now for the installed base of ps2 owners are anxiously awaiting to decide on a next gen console. when prices drop, it all depends if they stay with the sony brand or go with microsoft.

i was thinking the same thing. they look exactly the same. the only differences i noticed was in '08 they have the players' last names and the gamescreen looks brighter.
WOW! that game does look amazing. It is nice to see some real gameplay footage. It looks spectacular. It will only get in as time goes on as well. Very impressive! Seems to really immerse you in the experience. Tons of action going on around you.
I was not stating it like I want HD-DVD to win. I have a PS3 and blu ray movies. I was just saying it for conversation since I thought I read on this site last week that HD-DVD was doing better in Europe than blu ray. Well the past day has surely been one sided with all positive blu ray stories. It is about time and finally proven that blu ray will stick around and be the main supported HD format.
Blu-ray still has to win in Europe because wasn't it posted here last week or so that HD-DVD is selling great there?
$20 is lower than I thought they would charge for the game. I already have a bluetooth headset so I do not need the disc version. This game is a steal for that price if it stays true. The beta is addicting and the game will only be better once it is released. Hope the price stays the same.
I do not buy add-on content either. As long as I the game is fun and people are on to play the levels I have, I can careless about an extra map or 2 and more uniform apparrel.
the communication in the game is not that great. voice problems with mic (fuzzy noise, etc) occur, and plus not many people do have mics for it. very hard to play CTF and such when no one has mics...but i am sure that will change in time.
i am in the beta and hav eonly been in a max of 32 player rooms. i did not know that they have 64 player rooms that you have ot be invited in to play. it is crazy action with 32, can not imagine 64 players at once. this game really is awesome. it is very addicting and fun as hell to play. it does take a while to get used to the controls on foot, land vehicles, and warhawks. if you love em shoot em up games and love playin multiplayer games, this should be at the top of ur list to buy com...

i remember playing the GTA series on te computer back in high school....when "FRAGGED" was first introduced to me good old days...
why do companies invest in making sequels to games that do not sell or play well??? this happens all too often. not many people rave on how blazing angels was a stellar game...
i know killzone could fit in the category as some people will argue, but it actually was not that bad of a game. it was way better when compared to blazing angels or other crap like that.
i know....they alwasy cut to commercial break when the games that people wanna see were being shown...they couldn't go to commercial when discussing xbox arcade games or something...they go during mass effect, halo, etc.
