I thought it was supposed to be bluetooth. They said it could be used standalone, which would mean it had it's own battery, as well as work without being connected to the controller. I could be wrong though.
I never endorsed achievements. I have no issue with someone stating his opinion as opinion. However, there is a difference between stating your disdain for achievements, and calling those adults that enjoy achievements comical. One is a statement of opinion; the other is an insult. I think what was significant about this rumor is twofold; it said that the 4th generation is only a 2x improvement in processing power, and the RAM, while possibly having more, is a downgrade in type.
I'm probably the only one on earth who hasn't played the game. I wish I didn't know the end though.
I don't understand how you can call achievements pointless and then insult the adults that enjoy them, and then claim to have an intelligent conversation. The competition of acheivement collecting is enjoyable to some; the ad populum attacks are baseless.
I think that there are some games that were just meant for online. People don't buy Call of Duty or Halo or SOCOM for SP. If you buy these games for SP then you were clearly misinformed. However, what gets me is tacking on some lame online to a traditionally SP game. Most often it's just broken.
But then again, I have no friends... :'(
If you have all the consoles for this to be of any importance to you, then you just buy the best of each. These articles make it seem as if you can only buy from one console each week.

I could fling monkey poo at your and not charge you for it, but I'm sure you would find a way to complain about it. And technically it's not free, I hate how people say it's "free". There's no additional charge beyond the initial fee (i.e., buying a PS3) but one must still buy the PS3. Don't get me wrong, I like Home. But there is no problem being critical of our service providers. It allows for a better experience.
