That the scenes are not prerendered. Prerendered scenes take up much more space than those that are not. What would take up a lot of space is the music, voice acting, SFX, etc.
Let's suppose that a 160GB hdd costs 30USD (for sony). That means Sony can make an extra 70USD from this higher end spec. It also allows them o boast the larger harddrive between the higher end models of xbox and playstation.
