I'm not a budget gamer and have plenty of spare money and still wont pay to play online. Its probably the only thing that has kept me from having a 360 as my secondary console.
False, most games are hosted by the company themselves. EA, Acivision, Ubisoft all host their own servers. Maybe some of the smaller devs and publishers may get MS to host their servers but prety sure sony does that for smaller devs too.
From the games you listed are you saying core gamers only play online and online shooters? Single player games by far gave me a better experience this gen (Not to say MP was boring). I'm sorry but your view of a core gamer is misguided.
Competition is the best thing ever. It's only good for consumers
This article......why?
Probably due to ho resistance 2 was received, but to be fair i think resistance to had THE best co-op of any game this gen. I was hoping more devs would follow in the mold and make co-op games like that and possibly spread it across different genres.
I thought it was only 4 titles? Onimusha (the genma version), 2, 3 and DOD, or are you also including blade warriors? I also think capcom is having trouble making games this gen which is why i want this hd collection before they completely go off their rockers lol.
I know they are concerned about it not selling, but people actually want this. Touching up a ps2 game cant be that expensive and only a couple hundred thousand in sales should be enough to turn a profit (i'm basing this off other HD collections). I'd like them to have bluepoint games, sanzaru, or idol minds do the work.
Snes, N64, and GC were all pretty powerful machines for their time. It wasn't until the wii that ninty started going the underpowered route. Dont make it seem as nintendo has always had this philosophy.
The wii was an accidental lightening in the bottle for them and before that they were on a downward slope (even if they still made money). With the wii-u they are trying to this time purposely catch lightening in a bottle and its gonna hurt them.
@jaqen halo alone didnt save the xbox, in order for MS to to expand their userbase they had to get a bunch of other games (Mass effect, bioshock, etc....). Halo helps but there is no such thing as a SINGLE game that can support a platform.
This will help, but no 1 game can save a console. They are gonna have to find a way to get more games out for the system. New mario in october is great but what about the months between now and then?
Then why hasn't MS themselves got it to do what they showed it could?
Yes, when you boot up the game you get the trophy patch and another patch which allows you to do the full install (provided you have enough space of course). The re-release was just to try to get new people to buy the game.
Where can i go to complain to capcom about this? This is literally the last HD collection i need (even though there are still some i want). At this point i dont even care if they split it into 2 collections i'd still buy it.
The problem was that back then HDD sizes on the PS3 werent big enough. With the re-release that problem has been solved and you can just install the game once and be down with it.
Next gen maybe on the 720, but at that point why bother? I'd rather he work on ZOE 3
128gb
youer flippin right mon!!!!
Issue was resolved the re-release i believe. You no longer have to install each chapter every time, you can just once.
Makes sense if you think about why the chose the name for the 360.
