Before the wii, nintendo was losing about half its user base each gen from the snes. The wii right now is an aberration on nintendo's console sales. The wii-u may or may not be on the path that would have followed the gamecube had nintendo not accidentally caught lightening in a bottle. Nintendo had the same franchise on the 64 and GC but it didnt help them all that much with the userbase so they are gonna need some 3rd pasrty support to remain viable in the home console industry.
Dont excuse the amount of bugs that their games ship with. Maybe some of them should go so they can learn how to do some QA testing.
I'd have to say that video games are still somewhat stuck in that "its only a toy" box. Even if they are more mainstream today than they were in the past people still think of them that way.
I dont understand them at all. Isnt the RE port the one that was on the DS (or 3ds)? Capcom is so out of touch its not even funny.

Why mess with near perfection? They analog sticks are without a shadow of a doubt in the right place, especially since i play more than shooters and even then they are really good. And i dont have small hands.

Take away the 1 year head start in usa and jp as well as the 15 month head start in EU. pretty different picture as far as sales go.
Dlc doesnt sway sales, if MS falls back on this tactic next gen without that one year head start it's gonna be rough for them.

The demo most likely is gonna have MP in some way. No reason to delay the demo if it was SP only.
Wasnt that also true at the start of this gen? Games didnt look too much better and late gen ps2/xbox titles looked a little better than some 360 titles early on.
