Come on, Did you read my post and consider myself a person that doesn't understand or that's not methodical in how I play games? I just don't like wasting time, and the Souls games are nothing but. There is no way to know what build you'll need unless you play through the game several times.

My biggest problem with Dark Souls going in cold is that you have to have precognitive knowledge of what you need to upgrade before you know what you want.
In other words, How do I know I want to create a bad ass fighter when two-thirds into the game you realize that bad-ass sword you just got, you can't use because since the beginning of the game you should have been upgrading your luck skill and not your strength?!

Yeah, it looks it alright. There's like zero reasons for this game to exist. I know the pundits will line up with pitchforks, but this series was retired for a reason. MS needed money in a bad way, with that line of thinking they'll resurrect Ras Al Gul for a quick buck. Based on what I've seen Gears 4 is the same ol' same ol'. Only prettier.

I deal with this every day. Racisms is the plague of humankind. Nice to see its being addressed in video game format and not in high fantasy like Dragons Age, but practically.
It's silly if you like being taken advantage of. I for one don't like paying to see what works and what doesn't. That's a standard that only gamers would hold to. I instead like completed certified products, which have gone through extensive Q&A to determine the overall product.

I'm interested in VR, the games you mention are in my radar. But I won't commit until I see some compelling, intriguing games that appear to have a little more substance.
