I get your enthusiasm, but this tech isn't ready for prime time at all. It needs a good ten years to turn into something that is not clumsy or cumbersome. I like new things; I like them to be meaningful especially if you are dishing out hard earned money.
It's like 3D, remember how this whole site was on fire because 3D WAS the definitive answer to everything gaming. You couldn't even think otherwise.

This Pro is not going to do well. I've asked my friends what they are going to do, and they are all scratching their heads as to what the benefits of the Pro are. We all are. These last two weeks for Sony have been atrocious, but it's not the mess that's the problem. It's their way of thinking. They are committing the same mistake they did prior, back in the PS3 days. Yep, this review is spot on. I saw some gameplay on it last night on Twitch.
It stopped me from buying it. The load times alone were ridiculous. The gameplay was good, though. Nothing else was. Inafune is fuquing up with a capital F.

There's never been a portable console. Not a handled that connects to a home console. That's (again) another half step.
If Nintendo makes a console that fits in between Scorpio and Pro, I'm fine with that. The WiiU had many innovations one them being seamless wireless streaming from the main console to a pad. It was pretty great considering the signal was pretty strong.

Look I saw gameplay on this and when it came down to shooting mechanics, It looked great. But those load times are legendary. I'm sure a few patches can fix this but WHOA! those load time are pretty epic.
