I also realize MS doesn't have anything to show in this arena do its better to spin it this way, with that statement. However it's legit in every way.

This argument would hold water IF they were moving millions of units on each revenue stream which we know is not the case.
Also historically speaking, consumers DO become confuse when presented with different versions of hardware unless one is taken off the shelves and not made available any longer.
As an example look what happened between the Wii and WiiU.
Also, early adopters can praise VR all they want, unless millions of those devices are sold to justify develop...

If it is powered by the Tegra then NOT even in the wettest dream could this device match even the first gen models of Xbox One and PS4 and I say that with sadness in my heart. I don't think Nintendo has learned from their mistakes. Instead they are making all new ones and keeping the old.
They want to follow the smartphone model. That's it. You can spin it however you like, but its a cash grab.
I love Nintendo. I love all their games and all their systems. They've always brought something to the party that others have lacked. Of their innovations and contributions there is no doubt.
However, unless the Switch represents the epitome of modern day gaming, I fear Nintendo will have to rethink it's place in the modern day gaming market.
