Gotta say with much respect. That score is rather high for a retro game with a few touches here and there. I suppose at the end of the day its all about how the player/ gamer perceives it.
If you like this kind of game and you don't mind the touchy controls then yeah I suppose it could be a 4.5 out of 5.
No sh!t?
Anyone who is anyone knows that this is what they are doing.
Say what the customers want to hear now. They stay hooked and when the times comes slowly roll out what we envision the future to be. Text book.
I learned this in my political science class back in college.
I cant figure the numbers. How is it expensive or damaging to release content in a closed, controlled environment, but free as a whistle on the PC?
Doesn't make any sense?
The idea is to keep the players playing your game, not for the experience to get stale.
Free, is the way to do that. You want a money wall on content that's superficial at best. We are not talking full blown expansions, like say Something like a Mass Effect add on, story driven expan...
What should have happened is applied pressure on MS and Sony to not charge for DLC and these so called "expansion packs" that offer a little gun and maps as content.
We know we have the power. Look at this reversal they just pulled on XBone.
I know CD Project wants it free, these chaps are alright.
Just infuriates me that the big manufacturers want to get away with highway robbery.
Here we go again. Next-gen/ Old habits.
Free on PC, money hose in your wallet on the consoles.
by the way maybe don't mean sh!t, either it is or its not and if history teaches us anything, its NO!
The idea was OK in theory, in practice no good. I did the math and (in my case) $1,626 three XBones so that I can share a few games within my family. PLUS Gold memberships, doesn't add up AT ALL.
So when they figure this out and realize our last names doesn't end in Gates, maybe i'll see what new concoction they've come up with.
Cliffy! You so crazy!
Stop inhaling that M$ windpipe and get with the program. I know you've been rich since you where like 12 years old, but the rest of us cant afford to pay $65 dollars every time we decide to play a game.
If you want and the industry feel so strongly about all this, why hasn't anyone sued Gaamestop?
They make a killing off of your products. If this were any other business, they're would have been blood in the street by ...
Im sure he does.
I don't think so. There are questions lingering in the air like one of those nasty farts that wont go away.
What is the DRM now? Why reverse your policies? The impression is that Microsoft is a money hungry corporation that "did the numbers" and realized things were not looking well for their new system. So they scramble with a knee-jerk reaction and decide to do what their competitors are doing.
Seems their vision of the future was pre-mature.
...
This game looks phenomenal. If the game play matches the visuals its going to be huge.
I cant say I agree wholeheartedly with the author, but they make some valid points although I feel there are based more on buyer emotions and feelings than actual hard data.
I'm positive Nintendo has hard data facts about how gamers buy games and more importantly how Nintendo fans buy games.
Perhaps they did move the Wonderful 101 to compete with GTA V because they feel it has every chance at competing (and winning) that date slot.
Its th...
YAWN!....Yep.
Because its a cable box. I'm into gaming, not TV and sports,Skype, remote controlling my TV, COD (with Dogs) and lousy Kinect games, oh which by the way reads your heart beat.
I don't care for always on internet, they have not given the reasons why this must be, I don't like their game trading/ ownership policies.
Their gold membership is sh!t. Free Halo 3? Come one.
And that Illumiroom is migraine inducing.
for all your t...
Sounds yummy.
You are absolutely right. I don't think I made my point clear.
Maybe if I make it more personal.
Say, I was running Nintendo and I was making a transition from Wii to WiiU.
I would aligned my best talent and make sure that when I release our new technology, we had strong games that absolutely showcased what the hardware was all about.
I would make sure that there were no gaps (as we are experiencing right now) for our con...
The list is solid, I can see a lot of potential hits there. But I am at odds with the third party titles. Some I will get for WiiU, no brainers like Deus Ex and Wonderful 101 but I'm afraid I've changed focus on the Ubisoft titles. I feel they will be better served on the PS4 than on the WiiU.
These were a lock before I made up my mind between Xbox and PS.
I suspect this may be the case with many other WiiU owners.
Funny stuff.
I read this interview a couple of days ago on a different site. I must say I agree with Mayamoto on most points, but this delay in software because the programmers need to get used to the tech? Thats just PR silliness.
WiiU was not developed in some secret country, hidden under a Tundra and unveiled yesterday and therefore all production on Wii had to stop and the devs needed to learn how to program for this thing in a matter of hours.
Just say the truth, you...
I will gladly sign this petition, but I highly doubt this is possible.
To little, to late.
and (again) wasn't Sony doing this, like forever?
I'm OK, I've been a gold member for 6 years and all I got was a big FU.
I like value for dollar and now you want to give crap away and all that, at the end of the cycle when I have every game I want on the 360. No thank you.
M$ did their math.
