I can see the points folks are making, HOWEVER .... the FREEDOM OF CHOICE is the area MS shines here. As was said, if you want to buy the HD-DVD drive and the HDMI cable ....... FINE, but as for the folks who have NO INTEREST in the HD-DVD drive or HDMI cable, at least they can SAVE THE CASH and not buy it.

I will not comment till stuff is official, but let's just say that if DOES INDEED mean the 360 will have true 1080p, with my new Sony SXRD XBR2 60" bastard of a TV ... I WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT.
My MS 360 will look GREAT on my SONY television.
360 and my PS3 (eventually) will look fantastic.
I am not knocking it, all I am saying is for those of use who will be lucky enough to live in both camps (PS3 and 360) by having BOTH machines, If you already have FN I would not buy it again for the little enhancements.
BUT, as was said .... congrats to the PS3 folks who have not played it yet (an hate the 360 for whatever reason) and will buy it .... not only looks wise, but game-play wise this is a GREAT GAME indeed !!!

I have this game on the 360 and it looks pretty much the same to me. 360 gameplay and PS3 screens that I just looked at look the same.
When I get my PS3 I will spend my money on a different game than this. An extra vein here or there does not make this a better game.
I "LOVE" the cartoonish style look to this. I use to play the original TF like crazy. I have a funny feeling that if this is ANYTHING like the old one and half as much fun as the old one was ... it will be on the top of the XBL charts.
When MS does stuff like this for us "Gamers" it makes me very happy to own a 360.

I agree, this games is not so bad, but hey ... the demo is Free and the fact I can HOST a online game and invite ONLY FRIENDS is a VERY NICE feature to have for a demo.
I hate demos that have online but I am thrown into the mix and forced to play with some of the yaahoo retards out there that do nothing more than aggrivate with the silly crap they say.

I played this Demo a few months back when it came with my OXM magazine and I was "NOT" very impressed with it at all.
SO seeing as how it has been pushed to 07, that at least tells me the OXM demo was VERY EARLY. That makes me feel better about the FINAL version of this game.

By not being able to do DIRECT PORTS to DX-10 stuff may be a good thing.
For those who actually "READ" and "UNDERSTOOD" the article you would have caught the fact that it will perform JUST AS WELL as if it was DX-10 but because it is not actually DX-10 they cannot call it that.
BUT .... it will force some tweaks to happen when porting .....and "THAT" may open some doors to TWEAK in a way to maybe even get a bit more from the game dev...
It looks very very nice and I will most likely pick it up ..... BUT ...
