The 360 end of the AV cable has more than enough potention and etching to give all the power it needs in regars to HDMI
New Cable:
one end plugs into 360, other end is a TRUE 1080p HDMI connector.

My 360 had NO ISSUE at all, but just to see if I could get a new one I called walmart with a bullsh*t excuse of a problem and said "I want no money back ... just a replacement"
They said they were not supose to and after 3 months I was suppose to send it back to MS

I have ALWAYS been a HL fan and for me this is a must have.
Not very hard to figure out .... one end will look the same as the cable that is stuck in your 360 A/V port right now and the other will look like an HDMI cable.
Would that not work ?????
And as for cheap cable ... I AGREE 100%. The mad Kats S-Video cable I had SUCKED and gave me video problems. The MS once I had worked fantastic.

But now I read it may cause issues ... did they give you a reason in more detail. I mean all it is is 3 fans helping pull hot air out faster.
