dude if your happy forking out £300 every few years to keep up with technology then thats fine (retarded but fine), i personnaly would rather pay a little more now and not have to worry about buying add ons or a completely new system.
like my post says, its my 2 cents, dont feel like im bashing your love interest (the xbox) cos im not, its simply how i see it.
these guys really know how to get the most out of a console, cant wait to see what they can do with the ps3!

i dont understand why people dislike the ps3 purely cos it has lots and lots of features that arent related to games! i understand that marketing it as this, that and the other may confuse, even worry some customer but personally as someone who thinks they're quite up on tech i love all the add ons and features the ps3 offers me, and with things like playTV around the corner this certainly will become the centre of my entertainment set-up!
to be honest i saw this potentail from day...
but the ps2 had a massive install base due to its line up of massive games, as of yet the ps3 hasnt had a single 1. in 2008 with titles like LBP, MGS4, FF13, killzone etc all coming together the consoles will simply fly off the shelf. next year will either make or break the playstation, i personly predict nothing but good things once they start release some of these HUGH exclusive titles!
this game is gonna set a new bar for any game period...

@ Rybnik, i know he said that but its impossible, the pc versions will always look better on a high spec pc, not just due to the increased power but simply resolutions, the consoles at best are capped at 1980x1080 where as a pc monitor can offer much higher res, we're talking som serious money here tho, thousands and thousand!
using the same interface between all its products is a clever plan, customers will be encouraged to buy multiple sony products as they will fell safe as they already understand how to use the interface! sony, making technology user friendly?
my mate has the xbox version, i can say that on my monitor (1980x1080) it looks alot cripser than the xbox, i goota say tho my PC is very high spec and the xbox does an amazing job for its price! great game regardless of platform!
ive got if for the pc so im not to bothered but it would be good for people with just a ps3. i would of thought tho that by the time they could complete this there will be to much compition coming from other ps3 games, UT3, haze, stuff like that!
the fact that the guys said even videos do it no justice, cant wait to see this in the flesh, and he compaired it to RAGE (th pc version!!!), the most advanced/powerful engine out there, well not out there yet but...

edit @ PanZeRFaust14, dude, playststion has a long history and has a large list of million selling ps1/2 games which they could finance to be made for the ps3 that would be console sellers, xbox has 1, halo... im not trying to be biased its just the way i see it.

i think not, these are all teething issues for sony, theres a long road ahead of us and sony will not lose interest just because of a few bumps along the way, i think everyone knows that next year is the make or break for playstation, and withh the list of AAA exclusives they have i dont understand how anyone can doubt that this time next year the ps3 will be massive...
