its taken them all this time to come up with the same prediction that we (ps3 fans) came up with nearly a year ago....?

already confermed that there will be several games at launch, eg, pool, bowling, air hockey, arcade games, an adult only casino area...etc etc. they also said that they'd release software to people so they can make their own flash games etc and impliment them into home for everyone to enjoy! hope this helped
well the fact that your comparing the fictional xbox720 to the ps3 pretty much proves everything!
and by the way releasing tech first can be good in 1 way, get it into customers hands first and try and build an install base but, it also allow other companies to look at what you've made and go one better, ala, xbox 360 and ps3...
yes i am a ps fan, infact im just a fan of tech in general. and i still find it crazy that 360 owner still try and state that the machine is more powerful than the ps3, its simply not. i agree that the ps3 has yet to really show this and yes the 360 has a far better line up of games, currently! but all this talk of Dx10 capabilities is rediculous, its just marketing crap, a gpu has either fully dx10 support or not, its not a case of having some of its properties and not others.

cant believe you guys still come up with the Dx10 line.... guess thats why the cheapest Dx10 card is more expensive than the 360 and is only supported by vista....
put a 8800GTX in a XP machine doesnt mean you magically have Dx10 does it...
what we all already know. i know its a hard pill to swallow for the xbox fans here but its just the true, if you know anything about computers you can see that the ps3 has much more potential, 1st gen games already on par with the xbox's 3rd gen, isnt that sign enough.

halo, as most of the 360 fans on here would agree isnt 'most games'. i think you'll also find some of the dissapointed comments above are from 360 fans! did you even watch the video?

im unsure that the single player will be any good anyway, all the info thats been released so far is all about multi-player, i know that halo is pretty much built around multi-player now but theres still some of us who like a good one player experience. bungie seemed to let single player fall by the side on halo 2, hopefully this aint the same story!!

sure its a good game, maybe even great, no one knows yet. i think some people get carried away, i loved the halo series, well apart from halo 2's single player! but its just a game, when the others came out there was little to compete but now, there's so many promising FPS games coming soon after that halo will have to be the greatest game of all time to carry the hype into reality and IMO i just dont see it. i know die hard 360 fans that are much more interested in COD4 which is completely u...

the design will remain the same, 1, to stop current owners kicking off and 2, the design IMO is already perfect! sure maybe the sticks are slightly better placed on the 360 for FPS games but the D-pad is complete wank, ever tried playing street fighter on it? crap! the playstation pad IMO (again) has the best compromise!
knowing how good technology companies are at marketing, probably something along the line of 'sixaxis dual shock'...

the only reason that the original sixaxis didnt support rumble was pure that sony had a continueing lawsuit with the company that provided it to them, if sony had no interest in releasing a rumble version then why continue with the lawsuit? now that has been resolved there is little doubt that a rumble sixaxis will hit stores soon!

are people so concerned now with how many consoles get sold, sure, if you have a large instal base then you will attract attention from developers but lets be honest, once both consoles reach over 10 million units no developer in there right mind wouldnt support it, with hugh AAA titles being bought by what, an estimated half of the consumers.... 5 million X £40 = smily faces....
