every body seems to think that blu-ray is purely dominating due to the ps3, but anyone who wants to buy a 'future proof' HD player and they know about tech the should go for the blu-ray, its already been stated that future hd movies will have trouble fitting on a HD-DVD with all its extras and that to me doesnt sound to future proof!

about the hype surrounding halo 3 and with regards to "There are other things to talk about, aren't there?" i think you'll find this is a thread about killzone mate, hense all the killzone talk, d'uh....
blue-ray winning the hi-def war wouldnt hurt M$, their console doesnt require HD-DVD and their add-on drive hasnt sold well and currently they're down billions on the xbox360, microsoft will go where the money is, if they start to believe that the future is blu-ray then thats where they will go, M$ currently support HD_DVD to try and hurt sony, but blu-ray is much bigger than simply the ps3. business is business, its all about profit.

its a great idea, and if you can get blu-ray into the pc market microsoft will have to start supporting it more! i dont think microsoft will tho because of the 360 but who knows, microsoft will go where the money is, plain and simple!

oh really? ok so how many levels are there? how long single player? how many in multiplayer? multiplayer modes? vehicles? weapons? we know nothing about this game really, i think sony are being very clever with this, they release the smallest piece of info and people go mental for it! guess we'll all just have to wait and see but i have no doubt this will be the FPS of 2008!
i think that pretty much sums up my excitment for this! i cant wait for all the crap AI shouts to come from the xbox fans, who cares, when this comes out everyone is gonna see what the ps3 is capable of within 2 years of release, i dreed to think what killzone 3 will be....

the only reason they dumped the xbox was to help boost xbox360 sales so there could get as many sold as possible before the ps3 was released! also it was selling no where near as much as the ps2, bit like the 360...

what a tit you are, trying to turn everything into a console war, first it was games, then muliplat games, now its AI cos some noob compaired a finished product to one still in development..... if i had a time machine id go back and kick your mum in the..... guess!
in my opinion the most important part of a game now is the multiplayer, especially in the case of HALO, its the multiplayer that made the series as big as it is today, lets be fair halo 2's single player was wank! so to me AI isn't the most important part, you may play through a game a few times but the most fun to be had is pwning real people!
both consoles can handle AI the same, it just takes time on each one, if i get a pc game the quality of the AI doesnt depend on what type of CPU or GPU i have does it!? what is it with people.....
anyway, even (which i very much doubt) if killzones AI isnt quite as good as halos who cares, 99% of the time you'll be playing halos multiplayer so what difference does AI make there?? plus, just go look at killzone.... it rapes halo in everyother department, graphics, sound, destructable in...
this game looks and sounds amazing, the visuals are nearly up there with the best looking already and with a year of development left! games like this one are gonna make GOW3 have to be something very special indeed!
theres lots of people with 200+ dvd's, audio cd's, blu-ray's, ps3 games etc. and im sure if you can afford $3500 for this buying a few blu-ray movies aint gonna break the bank!
