and believe me when i tell you that graphically on max settings that this game is so far beyond whats currently capable on any console. the videos do not do this game justice, im lucky enough to have a pc capable of running it well and my friends (big console fans like you and me!) jaws literally dropped.
this isnt me trying to bash consoles, most of you probably know me on here and you'll probably also know im a huge ps3 fan, but i love my pc, and its for reasons like crysis....

well its that time of year again! do or die, ive yet to see a single ad for HD-DVD, i havent even seen a transformer ad with HD on it.
your mate needs to sort his pc out, i have same specs except i have a Q6600 OCed @ 2.7 and i could run it at 1650x1080 all high, except texture on Very high with 2AA and it ran well 'ok'. sounds like somethings up with his pc!
oh and your dx10 question, the 'very high' settings are where all the dx10 fancy features come into play!
dude HD-DVD can actually hold upto 51gb on quad layer.
blu-ray can actually hold 100gb on quad layer.
thing is current HD-DVD player cant support the larger discs which basically makes them worthless, where as and 'old' blu-ray player can use the new discs, all they need is a simple firmware update.
dude $25???? each one probably cost disney like less than $1, and perhaps your right transformers MAY of been a bigger hit if it wasnt for the disney promotion but blu-ray had the forstight to predict it.

paramount signed the deal quite some time ago and at the time probably thought it would be a much closer race, as i see it they actually stand to lose money from making that deal. Transformers alone would have made them millions if it was on blu-ray.
give it till the end of the 18 month deal and watch how paramount start kissing some serious blu-ray ass!

this game (IMO) is gonna wipe the fllor with crysis! hopefully they manage to optimize it well so you dont need a SLI monster rig to run it! although i do :)
if in-game looks anywhere near that ill be gob smacked! think Versus is gonna interest me more tho, ive never been a fan of turn based fighting! but who knows, maybe this game will change that!

dude regardless what you might think, Sony fans dont do that, sony fanboys do, same as the 360 fanboys who needlessly bash the ps3. they as bad as each other.
i personally am a ps3 fan but i dont bash the 360 for having something sony doesnt, or doing something differently, i just try to give credit where credits due.
either way, if you want this game, get it regardless of platform and just enjoy it, dont worry about which version is 'better'
