but pc games have always been ahead of consoles.
its simply due to hardware, pc components upgrade multiple times a year, where as consoles get a completely new systems every 5 or 6 years. everyday that your console is out its lossing ground on pc.
of course tho, console gaming is far cheaper than pc gaming, and in my opinion you still get far better value for money with your consoles, thats why i own one, but lucky for me i also own a top spec pc.

still from what ive seen the ps3 version is just (JUST) behind the pc, which in itself is a huge achievement for the ps3. ive been playing the pc beta for a while and its soooo much FUN, which is what UT3 is all about, non-stop relentless FUN FUN FUN.

this is gonna get me alot of diagrees here but its my opinion so here goes.. well after playing the demo over and over its easily the best FPS of the year, ive played bioshock, ive played halo 3 (both 10/10 games) and neither hold a candle to this game.
admittedly, with out a top spec computer this game will be very disappointing, but crytek stated time and time again this game was gonna be hard to run.
theres only 2 future FPS shooters coming that have anychance...
we might be getting that demo after all.
RE5 will be released "before 2009" that to me says Q4 of 2008 at best. im sure it'll coincide with the new RE CGI movie.
if Konami think they need it to make a true masterpiece then im all for it.
ive been wondering how i was gonna get through all the other games before april anyways, especially with Far Cry 2 rumoured to drop in feb!
i know its disappointing but you all want MGS to be amazing, if they cut corners for an earlier release then it wont be.

so the first multiplatform game of the year that really matters is indeed better on the ps3 in more ways than one.

EDIT @Gondee, you obviously havent been online with the ps3, lag seems to be a word that sony dosnt understand. anyway, sony supports dedicated servers.
im a huge fan of valve, i still think HL2 is the best FPS going, still this guy only cares for pc, its not like he cant do it for consoles, more like he cant be assed.

umm looking at the back of the case the ps3 version supports 18 players, doesnt the 360 only support 16? woooooooooo1!!!!!
