but can someone please explain this games genre, is it a turn based RPG like the other FF's or is it more action orientated like ninja gaiden?
the story is BS. i cant see a company that just signed a multi million pound deal with sony to produce a new RE movie and then turn their back on sonys gaming devision.

business's do the best for them selves, if sony offer capcom something good they'll take it, same as if any other company offered.
companies arent fanboys, they dont let biased and brand loyalty cloud their judgement.
...im sure they'll be doing it to try and get one over on Paramout rather than trying to help sony.
either way, as soon as this whole thing is over and we have one unified format consumers will start getting on the HD bandwagon, where as currently most of them are happy with standard DVD.
the human eye sees about 250 mega pixel or something stupid, now if you cant tell the difference in1 and 2 mega pixel maybe you need your eyes testing.
what ever you believe, there is a difference between the 2, maybe you cant see it, but i can clearly.
hell even the GT5 developer said they tried 720p and within 5 secs the said NO it has to be 1080p, now why do that if it has no effect?
its not right to tell some one which to favour. but regardless of what people claim/believe 1080p offers a superior picture quality to 720p. even tho some seem not to be able to notice this, to me, its black and white, like the difference between standard tv signal (480) and HD signal (720)....
what people are claiming is the same as saying there no difference between a 1 mega-pixel camera and a 2 mega-pixal camera. im just confused as to people can argue with fact and reason. ...
dude that was people 'opinion', if you look at fact (yes there is a thing called FACT) 1080p has twice the pixels than 720p, there for twice the quality.
the difference btween them is the same as the difference between standard TV and 720p TV. are you saying you cant see the difference betwwen standard and HD tv pictures?

and still i couldnt play this game at very high even at some 'low' res's (by low i mean 1650x1080/1380x720)
well lets just say i was expecting much more, hopefully the actual game is slightly better optimuzed.
still, order 2 of the new 8800GT to try in SLI, hopfully fairs better than the GTX.
but if you have a 1080p tv and cant tell the difference its gotta be one sh1t tv. tell you what, hook up a pc to your 1080p tv set the res to 1280x720 *look for a while* now change it to 1920x1080 *look for a bit longer* (oh by the way you just do that in properties, yeah, just right right click on the desktop....yay you got it) then come back and tell me theres no difference.....
oh and dont say yeah but pc..... its the same, a hdtv is basically just a large monitor.

the difference between 720 and 1080 is massive!
720 = 1280×720 which in turn = 921600 pixels
1080 = 1920x1080 which in turn = 2073600 pixels
thats over twice the amount, there for twice the definition.
obviously to take full advantage of this you need a screen much bigger than 32" to show the true difference, at around the 50" mark the difference is black and white.

over time it will get better, as did XP.
most of us dont have time to think, to busy play games at 1920x1080 at a min of 60fps.

of these 'comparisons' now. if you have a 360 get fonza, got a ps3 get GT, got both, then get both. or dont get either.
but please dont pi55 and moan about the differences in 2 different games because their on 2 different consoles. both are great at what they do.
