The way I see it, if games like COD:BOD and AC:L and Resistance released earlier and wayyyy better, it could've been the momentum for the AAA crowd sony wanted.
Sony sold it as a home-console quality gaming device, but when the only good AAA to release on it in the first couple of years was Uncharted (and later LBP and Tearaway) it didn't encourage the casuals to invest
I don't know what others think, but the way I see it, this is the first multiplatform (kinda AA/AAA) to release on wii u in a LONG time (in the west atleast). There was a point last year where the only multiplatform retail game coming was project cars (kinda ironic). I'd be happy that there is atleast a pretty well running version of a game I want, even if it doesn't utilise the gamepad.
I don't play minecraft, but nintendo-fans gotta start buying these multiplats and ...

Monster hunter sells well on portable devices, and obviously there wont be a psp after vita.
Resident evil is a dying/less populafr franchise.
Street fighter is the only thing on that list worth buying capcom for, otherwise I'd imagine nintendo would have more benefit from this purchase

No exclusive software for 8 months or so and they have the upper hand? Sony have been laughing throughout the whole year, not just in october and november, as well as all around the world, just not in the west. Backwards compatibility is a great feature, but it's not why people buy the console, so won't really help much in gaining the upper hand

What? It's people buying the games that makes remasters successful. And you're talking about capcom here, the most financially on-the-edge publisher out there. Am I solving a problem by playing old games, or changing my opinion to 'older games are played' when they so blatantly aren't.
No credit because BC isn't that highly-used of a feature. As long as there are a good number of current-gen releases coming out, there isn't really that need to play an older game bar one or two games you really loved/have nostalgia for.
I never used it on wii and don't see myself using it on xb1. It's certainly a nice choice for those who want it, but the general core do not use it.
