I was enthralled with them during the ps3 era but there was one thing that really stood out to me. They started to block your fortnite account on other platforms if you purchased something on it on ps, without warning. I don't play fortnite myself so I wasn't affected but it got me thinking. Then all the stuff with them actively blocking cross platform play, the timed exclusives (dlc). That wasn't what I was used to from them.

don't think so. It's no coincidence that a live service game is the one to go to xbox, because they need/want as many players as they can. Single player games ofc benefit as well from more sales, but it's a completely different thing than live service games. I don't see any of their major sp games going multiplat.

but it isn't dlc. It STARTED as dlc, then they decided to make a full fledged game out of it. In that spirit you can also call Hades 2 essentially dlc, cause it lends a lot from Hades 1, but I never once had the feeling that i was playing some sort of dlc because although a lot is similar, a lot if also very different and I don't doubt it will be the same for Silksong.
ever since XIII came out I really loved the cell shaded artstyle in games. I probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't have such a style like that

i think just means something is really wrong with the project. We heard about it years ago and every other game on that list was confirmed. It's been in development for a long time which at this point ain't a good sign.

I agree, but you do have to realize that their character/monster designer + composer died. They worked on it for literally decades, that's not an easy void to fill.
