Michael Pachter seems like a nice guy overall but stuck in the PS3 / XBOX 360 mindset when it comes to marketing and promoting in the modern day games industry.

People that bought this the first time around and made the game the success that it is today should at most pay $19.99 for the DLC but at extra $10 is a delayed strike to the heart.
Seems mostly to be a porting house I guess PC and mobile stand to get even more older Sony games. I wonder if PSX–PS3 emulation work could be in the cards as well.

It shows, didn't look like anything mind blowing or "next gen" but it's sure to get better with over a year of development to go unless it gets delayed.
The marketing and teasing on this is getting to be off the charts. I think letting people run wild with speculations can only lead to hurting the games reception when it finally does reveal itself.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection a whopping 174GB. Imagine having a series S with COD, Halo and this game you wouldn't have room for anything else.
They will be just fine overall CD Projekt Red as learned much from this fiasco and anyone with an open mind and without an axe to grind would think the same. But haters are always gone hate just be informed about it.
Games Pass is great, however, looking at the UK sales trends it's also causing a purchase freeze of sorts outside of the Games Pass ecosystem. Publishers that do not intending to go to Games Pass right away for whatever reason will defer Xbox development until last once all the sales on PC, PS, and Switch dry up first. I wonder if eventually this could result in a third party game drought on Xbox platforms.
This is pretty much applies for all digital content with DRM it will all need to phone home and store the checks.
People keep missing the point PS fans want these games that is why they are Playstation fans. Think back to Xbox 360 and PS3 gen when companies had to try and match game line-ups. Most of those games where at best mediocre or out right awful. If these games are not your bag maybe play one of the other thousand games that just got released.
Skip Xbox console and get Games Pass on PC and buy a PS5 and have the best of both worlds.
Only way I can see this happening is if its only first party MS Studio games like an EA Play or Ubisoft+ and the revenue split is amicable to Sony. It would basically negate Xbox hardware not sure Microsoft wants to just be a publisher of games at least not just yet, however, it sure looks that way. If you look at Netflix they are everywhere but they don't produce boxes like Roku, Nvidia Shields or Apple TVs.
The topic does not need to be, however, the act of going through it absolutely does as any good entertainment product should be afterall.
If it's done respectfully and not just a COD type game then they deserve an opportunity to create Art with a message.
