Box art matters to some people. I look at the cover more than the spine. It's not even remotely close (95% of the time I see my games, it's the cover and not the spine).
Heavy Rain's US boxart looks like a cheap, generic CSI DVD cover. That doesn't fit the vibe of the game at all, in MY opinion.
Meant to hit cancel, not add reply.
This guy is overreacting.
Look at it as one long movie then.
A Blu Ray movie would cost you about $20 for 2 hours of entertainmnet.
Heavy Rain is 8-10 hours ($80-$100 value). And you get ~20 endings. Game has a 2000 page script for a reason ;)
"A regular gamer like me doesnt like these types of games. "
I'm a regular gamer. You're just a typical asshat.
I'm buying Heavy Rain. That much is for sure.

Because I don't have the magazine that the review is from and want to know a bit more about what made it deserve its score.
Not everything in the industry is fanboy fueled. Seriously, re-****ing-lax.
"and for those that say 720p is good because their TV is only 720p, maybe you should have held off on a ps3 until you could afford a real TV."
Who the **** are you to tell me what to spend my money on like that?
Stfu with that pretentious bull****
@1.12
That's sort of true. Most of the major bugs and glitches should be fixed in BETA TESTING. They have beta tests for a REASON. They're not just demos or something like that.
Not to mention patches. From what I see, IW has said nothing and done nothing. You can say "every game has it's glitches" but that doesn't justify what MW2 is showing off.
I don't care at all whether it's 720p or 1080p.
They have 2 months left. They can feed the gamers info through the internet now and start marketing to the general public later.
"Im just saying the graphics are not that impressive"
When your main complaint is that the ground textures look bad while you're fighting a miniboss on a titan that's climbing a mountain... which is all running at 1080p / 60 fps...then that's DAMN impressive.
Factor in another month or so of polish, and that the actual game will look better on an HDTV in front of us (as opposed to screen shots of a demo build)... yeah I just can't take what I quoted from yo...
"The ground rocks and shakes; in the distance, a battle appears to be in progress. Hight explains that everything I'm seeing in both the foreground and the background is fully modeled, rendered in real time. Unlike previous titles, there's no trickery here; the team's taking advantage of the PlayStation 3 hardware to bring everything to life"
I can dig it.
It's a deal!
You watch a chart with some sales numbers for a year, and I'll play God of War III.
"Jeff Rubenstein replied on January 18, 2010 at 10:51 am
Screens are all I have for now, but we’ll be providing more GoWIII news on a very regular basis from here forward."
We may be fanboys...
But at least we aren't retarded.
I love how those first few pics are like Where's Waldo, but with Kratos.

God of War is a story to explain why we don't have Greek Gods in the modern ages. How the Hell do you expect the Gods to win -_-
Come on man, this is a God of War 3 article....
If you're gonna troll, then make it as epic as the game itself, or don't bother.
SONY does want to sell more games... But SONY isn't JUST a video game company, you know...
