"The 360 is the most profitable platform."
Except MS's gaming division only had what, one profitable quarter since its existence?
Nintendo is the most profitable platform, they're selling 500k systems + peripherals + software every month compared to PS3 and 360 selling <250k systems.
That's an assumption, of course.
So many of those reasons were backed up with either blatant bias or blatant (and completely random) guesswork that I can't put any stock into this.
I respectfully disagree with this author, for many factors, but I won't be bothered to post them all. Gotta eat my Wendy's.
If he's right though, then I'll be surprised.
"(...)so we're thrilled to be able to return now having shipped LittleBigPlanet,' said Alex Evens of Media Molecule."
They shipped LBP already? o.O
It was pretty cool, couldn't really bear to watch the whole thing though.
"Though most of the news on N4G is directly game related it doesn’t necessarily have to be. A news story about a new technology for use in HDTVs is not directly related to video games but would still be of interest to many gamers. The Tech category would be fitting for this story."

Just sayin' that N4G isn't 100% only gaming news. Not sayin' if this should o...
I wanted to try this beta >.<
Lame that it's 360 only :'(
I don't need numbers on metacritic to tell me what a "good exclusive" is.
I've played Uncharted, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, and Resistance. They are good exclusives.
How did I arrive at this conclusion? Simple, they were fun, and well made. *GASP* Shocking, ain't it?
I don't think you should use unconfirmed-for-09 games on that list. Some of those could be '10 releases
GoW3, Versus 13, Team ICO game. We also have no info on Uncharted 2, so there's no telling when that will be released.
I agree with your general point, just not how you're backing it up.
Breakfast: Weren't we talking about exclusives? wth are you trying to get at? I'm legitimately confused.
"I wonder what the people who thinks that the 360 has reached its potential"
Epic brought that up, so go talk to them.
Before I read this, I was like "this better have cerebral bore."
This list lost all credibility by not having it.
Those are still rare occurrences though.
And also, the YLoD can mean it overheated, but instead of breaking, it shuts off and the yellow light tells you that. It means "gimme a break, plz." Instead of "blargh I am ded." It can also mean HDD failure, but meh. You can upgrade your HDD for less than the cost of a game if you want to. And don't say "but I lost mah datas!" because you should be backing it up anyway.
Sony needs to make a profit, so I'm not expecting one any time soon.
@1.5
Just means Sony will expect more profit :o
This was a terrible article. His points were horrid.
For example:
" BD-Live is a joke. It's a second-rate attempt to offer interactive features that HD DVD did first and much, much better."
That is in no way something that will kill Blu Ray. Yeah, it's not good for it, but will people really not buy BD just because of this "optional" feature?
It seemed like the author thought something like this: "Hmm, I have 2 pret...
Fiction Friday at SG.
I don't like SG's site, and I even know that somehow :o.
"That's just reality, no matter what fanboys say.
I can only go by what I see."
I laughed at the irony at this xD. I hope you did this on purpose, otherwise, I'll throw in an extra LMAO later.
I'll prove it to you.
F@H requires power.
PS3 runs F@H.
360 does not run F@H.
Graphics don't denote power. Graphics are just one representation of how well a developer knows the hardware.
Thanks!
DLC is 2/5 of the "Top 5 Reasons..."? I really don't think so lol, but I could always be wrong.
They should have added Live Experience and Price Cuts or something like that instead, imo.
Those numbers are probably skewed by returned and refurbished units anyway.
