Eh. Length of first play through is an important factor for me. I hold that and replayability as separate standards in my opinion. But this IS Halo *3* ODST, not just Halo ODST, so a shorter campaign is fair game.
Price tag may not be for a lot of people, but that's a different thing to complain about.
Why are you so hung up on what OTHER people enjoy? I don't like Halo. It's too sci fi for my tastes (I usually hate games where everything is far off in the future. Killzone 2 and Gears 2 are about the level of sci fi I enjoy).
But something I've noticed about Halo players is that it's all about the community. People I know have had COUNTLESS Halo parties, and they always talk about how fun and energetic they are. Especially when they hold tournaments.

The only complaints I read were that the story wasn't to his liking at some point, and that the rooms had enemies that kept showing up (just like in CoD4, as I remember it).
That review was written for a 10/10 game, to be honest. I don't understand the .5 reduction, but I also don't care that much.

That's the problem. I was promised an amazing, next-gen GTA experience.
I ended bowling, hanging out with my in-game friends, and shooting 200 pigeons.
I don't hate GTA IV. I don't think it's crap or anything like that. But, personally, I was severely disappointed, overall.
