They said that this game will be a trilogy. Does that mean that the third game has been *officially* announced?
No.
Also, the very first sentence in the summary answered your question:
"Though White Knight Chronicles 2 was casually announced in an interview earlier this year."
a $60 expansion pack that should be priced at $40 is exactly equal to a $60 sequel that should be priced at $90 (I'm basing this on my personal opinion of the value of the content included. The actual number doesn't matter; just the fact that it's EASILY worth the $60).
That's garbage in my opinion. I don't give a flying **** if Peter over there didn't enjoy Uncharted 2. It's not his blog or something. He's supposed to give us an ACCURATE assessment of the quality and value of a ...

"that wasn't realtime, and that wasn't GT5. it was a tribute to the 485 Italia from the makers of GT. "
You obviously missed when it said "Powered by Gran Turismo." So yeah, it may not have been from GT5, but it was obviously done using that engine. I think that speaks for it self completely.
Twitter integration was really a selling point?
So their console is directly competing with Uncharted 2? Interesting.
I don't think any of us care about when you'll buy a 360.
Yeah, Nintendo doesn't attend TGS anymore. That's why it's so quiet in regards to that.
I don't think there'll be an epidemic like that. Of course it worked with Halo. Halo is Halo.
But if it happens too often, people will complain. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice..." That's not an adage for no reason (at least I hope so).
Yes but not with a press conference. They can always have displays and demos and whatever else.
Because the gaming world revolves around you and your gaming habits? Gtfo that's stooping to a bad level of stoopid.
My PS2 got stolen. I couldn't afford a PS3 with BC.
I know 7 people in similar situations. I don't extrapolate that assuming that my small, biased source is anywhere near statistically sound.
A gamer knows a good game when he plays it.
All I know is that Valve makes good money from their games, but they still can't afford to hire some coders to work on PS3 games.
You can call me what you will, but (as a PS3 owner) I just don't trust Valve.
Mr. Marbles seems to have missed the first few year's of the console war.
Completely.
"but where are all the 360 fanboys"
Probably the open zone.
They'd get shot down too quick over here.
Wish there was a delete comment button.
I just replied to someone else who said 10/10 = perfect game. This is my take on that faulty idea:
"10/10 shouldn't mean a perfect game. That's a completely broken review system.
10/10 should mean that the game is setting the bar higher than the current standard and the current competition. That it's pushing limits and progressing its respective genre."
10/10 shouldn't mean a perfect game. That's a completely broken review system.
10/10 should mean that the game is setting the bar higher than the current standard and the current competition. That it's pushing limits and progressing its respective genre. That's how I've *always* seen game reviews and I can't imagine rating games a different way.
What this review tells me is that Uncharted 2 is pretty decent compared to the standards set by Halo 3, GTA IV, CoD4, etc, ...
I'm jealous that he's getting paid for his game reviews and fiction writing at the same time lol.
Just like Watchdog keeps faulty products in the public eye, we should keep faulty journalism in the public eye.
If we say nothing, people might actually somehow believe that garbage.
@1.8
Well SONY can't really lie about it. It's .5% for the UK, not worldwide, and that sounds very believable to me.
And let's assume they lied. Let's tack on an extra TWO percent (That's a significant amount of people, 60,000+ altogether now).
Now it's 2.5%. That's still within standards. That doesn't require any "investigative journalism" or some other bs. Why don't they check out my blender, it crapped out after warranty. Same as one of my p...
Refusing to sell the PSP Go is stupid. People will just buy it with cash at a competitor and STILL not buy hard copies from the stores that don't sell the Go.
It's either sell it and make some money off of it, or let someone else make the cash off of it. They obviously made their choice though, as silly as it is.
