they obviously cant name sources numb nuts! and there are plenty of reasons for this...
1. Sources often speak on the basis of anonymity...and if you would like sources to continue to feed you good bits of info, then youre not going to blow the identity of your source...
2. These devs are ALL under an NDA with BOTH console makers...speaking publicly would cause them to face legal action from BOTH console makers, and probably lose their job
3....
And even with this super CPU (which is based on the same architecture as the PS4's BTW) all of the developers are saying the PS4 is significantly more powerful...

1. What Xbone games are shipping with 4k resolution again?...oh right...they are talking about the native res of the games being developed...not some irrelevant claim by MS about the console supporting 4k native games...remind me when a game actually ships in 4k native...
2. The author is not biased...simply reporting what his sources have told him...want to know why they don't get named and are anonymous? Because of that NDA you guys love to talk about...

because sources are all under NDA's and not allowed to speak about these things!...naming the source would be a way to lose that source...these developers could lose their jobs/face serious legal action for talking about this stuff...
those "tricks" are:
Driveclub: fully Dynamic lighting/shadows, day/night cycles, more varied/larger environments
Forza 5: pre-baked lighting/shadows, static time of day, no night, no weather, smaller/less varied environments...
don't get me wrong...Forza will be the better game...EASILY...but don't act like its some technical marvel for running 1080p/60fps..its impressive, but there are corners being cut to get there
its so funny how Foxgod's list of "best looking" launch games has dwindled...i remember weeks ago it was "Xbone games are all 1080p/60fps! PS4 cant do it" then info started coming out about KI only being 720p....and Ryse is only 30fps and looks like an absolute glitchy mess in multiplayer...yadda yadda yadda...
and now he is down to Forza 5...which will be an incredible game...and a much better GAME than Driveclub will be...but its no technical marvel....
they know they cant match the PS4 on pure power...

they explained it quite clearly during the press conference this morning...they didn't feel there would be enough Japanese themed titles to launch in 2013...so they decided a February 2014 launch was more appropriate launch for JPN....thats not a "delay" its just a launch...
